The Redwood Hotel

Not good. Don’t do it.nWe booked four units for three nights for our group trip, all four units experienced the hot water stopping completely during our stay and all at completely different times.nWhen I say no hot water, I mean that nothing at all was exiting the spigot from the hot water tap, the hot water tap simply stopped functioning at all.nNot good when you are still shampooing your hair…nI was offered another room for our last night but the damage was done for me already and I should never have had to be moved in the first place.nWhen we advised management, they said they would get the water fixed, but two weeks later we had others in our extended group trip stay at the Redwood and they experienced the very same problem.nThese rooms should not have been rented out again at all until the water was repaired. Looking at past reviews I see in March there was mention of water problems - has it been going on all this time and we are all too polite to mention it in a review?nCertainly it does not meet with the very basic requirements of a motel where all you want is a comfortable bed they are not and a good hot shower.nThe fair trading act is being exploited here. No offer of any refund or compensation other than a ‘good price’ on our next stay - really… they think we would even try to ruin our next holiday too?

Awesome place to stay, massive rooms, very comfortable and handy to everything we wanted to do....... Super cool pub, awesome staff, will definitely be back......

Went here Friday night for dinner with two friends. Went up and ordered for the table. 3 pork belly's when the food finally arrived we only received 1 of the pork belly's and was told no other food was ordered when it definitely was no apology just a snarky response about how she would bring the other two meals out as soon as possible. When the other two plates arrived it was obvious they were not cooked the same as the first plate the potatoes had no flavor to them it was like use chucked them in the microwave quickly. The next day we were all very sick. Do not recommend this place at all and will definitely not be going back. STAY AWAY

We just pulled in for lunch on our way past and it was great! Toasties are top notch and the pizza looked great. Huge portions, great value for money and staff were fab. We shall be back :
