The receptionist checked us in before check in time, usually 2pm. She could’ve smiled. I felt like she must have had a busy day but we were the only ones checking in at that time.nnRooms size was enough for a couple, we didn’t need more space. Shower glass was clear, have me the impression that the housekeepers were thorough. I didn’t see any hair on our bed cover most hotels have these, even 5 star ones.nnWe asked for more coffee sachets and additional soap liquid bottle which was timely arranged.nnI didn’t drink their tap water. I figured, it must be a new building and their pipes were filled with chlorine. Tap water tasted nasty! We bought bottled water.nnGreat location! Me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

No complaints about the room, you are catered for with the basic needs as far as a hotel room goes. The things that put this stay above other's in the great service provided by the front desk, reasonable cost and the on-site cafe.

My room was comfortable and clean. The location is great to go to and from around the city with a car and just across the road from the Casino if you want something to do at night.

Nice place, staff was fairly decent. Food was good. The rooms are great. And the location is very nice for sight seeing.

Stayed here for a week business trip in Christchurch. Hotel is very close to different restaurants on Victoria St and a short scenic walk to the main city area.nnThe room was nice, very clean, modern and bed was comfortable. Having access to a fridge was great. Bit odd there was no safe available, unusual for a chain hotel but no issues with leaving valuables in my room.nnI had breakfast included with my room. It was the same offering all week, bread / pastries / cereals / yoghurt available and cooked offerings bacon / scrambled eggs / mushrooms / hash browns. From 7-10am. The set up is a little awkward as it is very small area. Overall great as it was just what I needed — however understand if some people would expect more. I don’t generally like food being covered in cellophane. Maybe time to think of alternative solutions! Breakfast staff all very attentive and friendly.nnCheck out was simple and no issues overall.nnWould return!
