Fable Christchurch

A lovely weekend staying at Fable. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, including happy to tag & look after our luggage on check out.nI was surprised with a special and delicious birthday treat in my room, making the stay feel personalized.nThe bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the robe and slippers.nThe hotel bar was cozy and had great happy hour pricing, making it an easy option to grab a drink before heading out.nnConvenient location and easy check in/out services. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

I'll start with the location being great. The rooms are very small, don't make a mistake on your booking, you will be charged, even if they are not even close to full. Reception staff were unfriendly, manager did try to make up for it 'after the fact'. I travel a lot for work, second time I chose to go there due to the location but the last. There is plenty of choice in Christchurch, you should really be trying to 'better than the rest'.

This hotel is advertised as 5 star. The service was adequate, but not overly friendly.nnThe foyer is beautiful, but the room was far from five star. The carpet was worn and wrinkled, and the paint had been touched up poorly. The room was very small.nnIt was very clean, and it was quite cheap. The location is good. I wouldn't stay here again if we needed more than one night, because it's far too small for two people.

We stayed in a superior king room and it was very nice. The room was a decent size with a good view.nnThe breakfast buffet was well stocked and the food was fresh and tasty.nnReception staff was helpful when we checked in and out.nnGreat location close to the tram line and within walking distance of lots of great pubs and restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay at Fable Christchurch! The 2-Bedroom suite was incredibly spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed — from a relaxing spa bath to a Nespresso machine. The entire team was absolutely lovely, from the front desk and bar staff to the parking valet. Everyone made us feel so welcome. The view from our room was also beautiful. We were truly impressed and would definitely love to come back!
