Great location—just a short walk from Christchurch’s business district and vibrant shopping areas, which made it really convenient for both work and leisure. The hotel is part of the Accor chain, so it carries that familiar standard of quality and comfort. Service was pleasant throughout my stay; the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The room itself was clean, tidy, and well-maintained—exactly what you’d hope for after a long day. I stayed for two nights and felt that it offered great value for the price. A solid choice if you’re looking for comfort and convenience in the heart of the city.

Prime location! Couldn't be better. You can walk to all the tourist attractions from the hotel. The hotel and rooms were very clean, with a great atmosphere. Although parking space at the hotel is limited, the staff are excellent in recommending alternatives. Directly opposite the hotel is a large parking garage, which costs only $12 per night.nnMost importantly, the staff were incredible. They made a wonderful first impression that enhanced my stay. The staff assisted with parking, provided travel recommendations and directions, and even allowed us to leave our bags after checkout so we could explore the city and return later.

Had 1 night here in Christchurch at Ibis hotel and worth the stay. Close to many locations and the room was spacious. Like the bathroom was amazing and huge. The staff was so friendly and helpful when we requested for extra pillow and towels they helped and was delivered all within 20 minutes. They also helped to advice on parking locations which was grateful.nnHighly recommended to stay here when your in Christchurch.

Excellent location, good value and the staff are so friendly and helpful.nnThe rooms are small but have the basics needed for a comfortable stay. There are a few secured parking spots available and plenty of of city parking nearby.nnQuick and easy walk to most attractions, plus dozens of cafes and restaurants.

service really friendlynRestaurant was also great service, and special mention to Chef, who came out and talked to all and asked their feedback..ndining experience for dinner and breakfast superb...nnThe only issue was the room rate seemed high... I haven't checked out other properties in Christchurch, but I felt the room rate was overpriced.nOther than that, thanks ALL the staff at IBIS they were all so friendly
