Carnmore Hotel Christchurch

Thank you Carnmore hotel for making our stay such a beautiful experience. We have enjoyed the environment and the lovely hospitality and customer service. All the staff here are so friendly and welcoming no matter what time of the day it is. They always have a smile and greets you. The bed are so cozy & comfortable. The location is perfect to walking distance, parking cars are quite easy too as it’s free when. The hotel is clean and has a nice atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back again. We had a flight cancellation and the staff were so helpful without any hesitation and they booked us in again for another night and we didn’t even have to change rooms. As I was panicking thinking where we will stay the staff made me so calm and did everything all I had to do was swipe my card. We were so greatful of that and the help. Our experience was seamless. Please book with them, you don’t regret.

Lovely place in Christchurch with welcoming staff. Laundry facilities were also available on two levels which was great! Lifts didn't need a key card all the time which allowed for easy access up and down. All shops and main town accessible within 15 - 20 min walk. Showers were amazing!!

One service stood out was from a hotel manager name Grace, she was extremely resourceful & took great care of us throughout our stay & interactions. All staff were friendly. Amazing food services too! Central location. Will be coming back for more.

Loved our stay. Booked twice in two weeks. Our room was clean warm and comfortable. Walking distance to centre of the city. And most of all staff were so welcoming and accommodating,, infact faultless,, from reception to housekeeping.

ID 449595511 We stayed at Carnmore Hotel 24 to 26 Oct 2024. We confirmed booking 2 rooms with king size beds for 4 adults, 2 adults per room also confirmed arrival time after midnight. On arrival with our guests from Australia, only 1 room was booked for 2 adults. The staff took a long time to search for another room and eventually found a room with 2 single beds, not whatnwe booked. The response of the staff was embarrassing and at 1 am highly frustrating! This is poor customer service! Please could you also tell me what the charge of R224.76 about 21 NZ dollars was that was charged by the Carnmore reception to our hotel room? They took my Bank Card when we checked in but said it was only a holding 1 NZ dollarnnI have had no further reply from either Carnmore Hotel, Christ Church, nor Expedia about the bad service we got. Has it been investigated?
