This hotel should be 5 stars! Easy and informative check in and reception staff were fantastic! Impressive rooms that are spacious, modern and have great comfortable beds & pillows, excellent & helpful staff where nothing was too much trouble and the attached restaurant - Hoi Polloi was sensational! We arrived late to the hotel the first night close to closing time but the Chef was only too happy to keep the kitchen open so we could have a meal. Staff in the restaurant and bar were exceptional! Staff should be commended! Highly recommend this hotel and restaurant and we will definitely be staying here again

A big thank you to all the staff at the Carnmore Hotel Christchurch. We stayed here at the start and end of our holiday to the South Island. Extremely friendly and helpful staff at the front desk and Hoi Polloi restaurant. The hotel has a quiet, restful atmosphere yet is close to the CBD - only a 15 minute walk. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent location, plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Room was impeccably clean, every amenity possible was available in room. Walk in shower was a dream. We enjoyed a lovely view from the from the fourth floor, two elevators which you rapidly from the lobby to your room with no waiting, even when large groups are checking in. They are quick and efficient. The front desk and housekeeping staff should be recommended for the excellent service and kind, happy attitudes.

What an amazing stay! My fiancée and I were visiting Christchurch and stayed at the Carnmore Hotel. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting. The staff are incredible and make you feel right at home as soon as you check in. The rooms have everything you need, the bed is super comfy and clean, cooling and heating worked amazingly, and the bathrooms were spotless and had all amenities required for a comfortable stay. With an on site laundry which made washing our clothes so easy and seamless. A big shout out to Mercy at reception always making us feel welcomed and at home. The girls that work at this hotel go above and beyond and have really made this holiday carefree for both myself and my fiancee.nOnly walking distance to restaurants, museums, parks and attractions- and if you have a hire car there is on site and close off-site parking available which made it so much easier.nHonestly 5 star review - out of all the places we stayed in New Zealand, the Carnmore was the one that came out on top!

A nice hotel close to the city of Christchurch. Parking outside is free. Parking on the lot is $25 per day. There is a great breakfast option at the restaurant in the hotel facility. The rooms are nice, very clean and quiet. All in all a very high standard. I can recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Christchurch.
