Rydges Latimer Christchurch

I love this hotel. Well laid out, great facilities, friendly staff and a great bar and restaurant attached which gives it an always warm vibe.nnThe showers and bathroom needs an uplift but still fine.nnGym is better than most for the location of the hotel and there is the added bonus of an infra red sauna!

This place was amazing. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. It was my anniversary with my partner and they wrote a happy anniversary card and left a bottle of wine which was super sweet. We can’t get over their desserts at room service we both had the brownie and it was absolutely amazing. The only downside was the beds were soft, however, we both sleep on a firm bed so it’s just personal preference. The room It was warm. The bath was deep, the shower was amazing, the soap, shampoo, conditioner smelled so good mandarin and rosemary. Highly recommend this place. The staff were lovely too

Great location in the city, walkable distance to main tourist attractions.nnWe noticed that the bathroom doors had a squeaky noise as it slowly closes and I think the toilet seat wasn’t that clean. There was a stain on it that I didn’t dare to touchnnOverall service was excellent and they made up rooms nicely as we requested.nnWould still stay here again, mainly for the location

What can I say? THE BEST PLACE I HAVE BEEN TO SO FAR AND THEN Q IN Wellington is second. Clean, spacious, loved the staff. So friendly and the Bloody Mary's restaurant was crazy amazing!!! Plenty parking, close to amenities. Heaps of scooters and parks. Christchurch is a vibe but I advise on wearing heaving warm jackets cos you think you're warm? You're not. I'm now sick with the flu cos I was too brave walking around the hotel in my gym gear

Friendly staff, and place was tidy. Only thing we couldn't change was air-conditioning which had a remote but no matter what setting it didn't seem to change temp. There's a fridge but not sure if it was cold or just on. Otherwise was nice. Location was a few streets away from city and there's a playground that's a street or 2 away.
