Hotel Give

I had a great stay in the Queen Deluxe room. It was spacious, modern, and clean, with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom shower only, no bath. While I would have enjoyed a bathtub, the room’s balcony overlooking the Botanical Garden and university buildings was a nice touch. The room had a small fridge and coffee/tea facilities, plus there’s a shared kitchen with cooking and storage options. The location is unbeatable—right in the center across from the Botanical Garden and walking street. The $10 access to the fantastic gym next door was a big reason I chose to stay at GIVE Hotel. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Excellent location just next to Botanic Gardens. But they don’t provide car parking it just a bit inconvenient. Room was very clean and tidy even the bathroom is not in the room and just next to the door was very clean as well! It only have fridge in the kitchen without the frozen. High recommend!

Great stay! Friendly service, we’re able to leave our bags before the room was ready. We stayed in a classic queen room with shared bathroom. Very clean room with modern furniture, the bed was very comfortable! The room also has a smart tv, table/chairs with a mirror and a multi bin. The room can be a little noisy, you can hear people coming and going etc. I would say with the towels it would have been nice to have a bath mat per room if you are sharing a bathroom. They have a kitchen that you can use. It has utensils etc and a box that you can put your food in. They also have a laundry room and you can buy powder as well! They also have payable first come first serve parking available. Definitely would not hesitate to stay here again!

The receptionist, Neo if I remember the name correctly, was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The hotel has a cozy, positive atmosphere, offering a variety of food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is also very flexible, with a kitchen available for guests to prepare their own meals. Situated next to a lush botanical garden, it is perfect for nature lovers. The location is convenient, with tour pickup spots just seconds away. There is also a direct bus to the airport and the popular Antarctica Museum, taking only 30 minutes. If we return to Christchurch, Hotel Give will definitely be our top choice.

This has been a fantastic stay. Clean bunk rooms. Even cleaner showers and toilet. The next door bistro offers a breakfast buffet which was decent and more than enough. Some of the staff could have been friendlier but that didn’t bother me much. I would come back for sure!
