Econo Lodge Canterbury Court

The buildings are very old, not enough power outlets, and the main one near the desk is not working. Rooms are clean, but they don't clean them every day, and they do not top up items every day. Mostly no one is on site, the reception is always closed, and it takes at least an hour before anyone can come over after calling. The only plus side is very quiet.

It's not bad for the price. I've read the reviews for it and was very negative . If they just sit in the lodge and not leave, then I understand, but if you are their to just sleep and shower, and get ready to go adventure then it's a perfect affordable place to be. And it was tidy. There were a few smudges on the wall heater, but it wasn't their for the aesthetics, lol. If I could give it a negative review, it would be milk but even that wasn't a problem you're literally 10 min walk from bottle stores and a ton of cafés. And the staff were actually really nice and easy to deal with as well.

0 star!nI will never stay here again.nnThe place was dirty, rundown, and had a musky smell we couldn’t escape. Cobwebs surrounded the windows, which were filthy, and the curtains were barely hanging on. The couch was completely unusable—its springs were gone, leaving it all sunken in. The kitchen appliances were either dirty or unusable, and to make matters worse, there were ants in the kettle!nnTo top it off, there was a huge, overflowing skip right out the front, adding to the overall neglect of the property. We didn’t even sleep under the sheets because they felt so unclean.nnOverall, a horrible experience. Avoid at all costs!

No one to welcome u, No Sky Tv, No Hair Drier, No Milk in rooms, very run down rooms, dirty floors, beds bases n mattress had stains all over them, everything was dusty, lamp stands, tv , services, No breakfast services, room has a funky smell to them, shower is so old the pressure is not good, toilet was on a ankle n fittings outdated, carpet was torn n dirty made my feet black.. the sliding door had gaps so u could easily open it n break in, windows were dirty n unclean. Very false advertising on there website n choice recommendations. Would not recommend this place to anyone for a get away stay..

There were holes in everything and the curtain to the livingroom that afforded privacy from the rest of the motel was ripped and didnt hang. The door had obviuosly been kicked in at some stage and badly repaired which didnt afford one much sense of security. The worst part though was the sheets they were some kind of shiny plastic material that didnt breath and was hideous to touch. Honestly it wasnt even that cheap either for the price the least they could do is give you basic cotton sheets.
