Crowne Plaza Christchurch, an IHG Hotel

Stayed 4 nights on business - perfect location, in the heart of the city, walkable to surrounding restaurants and bars! Got upgraded to the top floor. Definitely a nice room with comfy bed and peaceful view! They don’t have the best gym in town but still at least they got benches and dumbbells!

The room service here is incredible, and the hotel rooms are top-notch. Room 907 is a real gem - it has a fully open balcony where you can stargaze at night. It’s super quiet and comfortable to sleep in.

We had a very pleasant experience at this hotel! We are IHG members and received an upgrade upon check-in, and had a great view of the city. The rooms are updated, clean and spacious.nnWe had a drink in the lobby lounge and was very relaxing environment!nnWe will definitely come back when we visit Christchurch again.

Great hotel with a nice bar and lounge. Very nice breakfast, didn’t try the restaurant but the food in the barmenu was excellent.nComfy beds and nice clean rooms. Scandi standard overall and with nice staff. Recommended!

We booked a night here. Our flights were changed by the airline. We requested to change the date. We were even happy to pay for an upgraded room if needed due to availability. They refused to even check. We got a flat no but they are happy to keep the full amount for the room. New Zealand hospitality - I think not.nnThanks for your reply - however the third party was booking.com who I contacted. They were happy to have the date amended as long as Crown plaza agreed. They rang you while I was on hold waiting. They pleaded our case told you it was out of our control due to flight changes. It's your decision to not change it and charge us twice not theirs. The accountability is all yours. I contacted your team twice for help and the third time via booking.com. So please do not pretend to be helpful.
