Crowne Plaza Christchurch, an IHG Hotel

My 2-night stay at the Crowne Plaza was a truly enjoyable experience. I was warmly welcomed by friendly staff in the clean and elegant lobby, and I especially loved having breakfast in the atmospheric restaurant while overlooking the city of Christchurch.nnThe room was spacious and tidy, and since the hotel is one of the tallest buildings in the city, the view from the room was also spectacular.nnOne minor downside was that some of the electrical outlets in the room didn't work properly. Aside from that, everything was great.nnIf I visit Christchurch again, I would definitely consider staying here again.

It was a very nice experience at the crowns plaza.nThe rooms were tidy ,the people at the reception was very helpful .nThe view from the room was spectacular and it has easy access to lots of restaurants nearby .nTheir breakfast buffet is must try.nWorth the money and they provide lot of variety Eat like a King overall great experience and a nice place to stay in Christchurch.

The shower cubicle is too small although the size of the toilet and room itself was comfortable! Water heater did not work during 1 of the night and the next morning, we were told to wait 30 minutes which is very long for a guest in need of rest! i expected better for what I paid for this hotel

Very clean modern hotel with welcoming lobby and key card security to get onto the floors. Rooms were a good sized in the bathrooms had wonderful tile work and a rainfall showerhead. This is the nicest crown Plaza I have ever stayed at. The location was fantastic

Great central Chch location. Reception team were very helpful and friendly. We had a 3rd floor room with 2x double beds. The room was spacious , shower good, beds a bit small but otherwise comfy. The aircon was excessively noisy from both inside our room and from the outside units rumbling excessively and this disrupted our sleep. Glad we opted for the pre-booked discounted breakfast option, which st discounted price was good value. Our kids enjoyed ordering pancakes and omelettes. A proper coffee came at an extra cost though!
