The initial room was incredibly tiny. The light would not turn off so the lovely staff upgraded us to a much bigger and better room. Unfortunately I could smell the toilet every time I walked into the bathroom. The location was fantastic, walking distance to the city centre.

I had the most basic room. Clean and tidy. No cupboards. No microwave. Be mindful that if you are staying for long you choose the room option which is not the basic one, so you can get a cupboard and microwave.nNo night light. So if you are like me who needs a little bit of light you have no choice there. Either you leave the toilet light on or be in pitch dark. The toilet light is quite bright so are the lamps.nThe shower and toilet have a sliding door. So you can only share it with someone very close.nMy room has a very small window but you can still hear the music Saturday night.nThe staff is nice and patient. Location of good everything is near. River side market is near for food options.nCheckout time is 10 am. You can pay ten dollars for an additional hour.

On the first night the shower didn't get above luke warm so I tried again the next morning - the water stayed cold. The room had no window and barely enough room to move. The hot drinks offering was very limited. This was all for $170 per night so while at the budget end I still expected a hot shower. Won't be staying there again.

This hotel has a great location within walking distance of everything in the city center. The linens, towels, and AC were good quality. However, the rooms are tiny, really small, with a double bed stuffed into the corner. There's also no housekeeping. But, having said this, the price point is reasonable, so I see it as a situation of getting what you pay for.

Don't stay here if you have a car or you have lots of hiking or camping stuff. $25 for parking and one loading bay out the front that was never free the entire time we were here people seem to use it as long term parking. Very difficult to get stuff in and out of the car. Rooms also very small so difficult to get packs organised. Fine and clean for a simple overnight city stay.
