BreakFree on Cashel Christchurch

Centrally located hotel which is easily accessible to the main attractions of the city. Booked the interior room which is quite compact. Although space is limited, everything I would need is being provided and well placed. The bed is really comfortable, the tv is working well, and the bathroom is highly functional. There is also a convenience store in the opposite side of the road which is still open in the late night. For its price, this is actually a good catch for solo travelers like myself who only needs a room to sleep in when passing through the city. Overall, I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Our room was TINY but very clean and efficient. It was much less expensive than other places in the area. I was surprised by how comfortable the room was. If we needed some extra space, the lobby had a nice lounge area with a sitting area, restaurant, bar, and coffee shop. The gym had dumbells, a treadmill, bike, and elliptical. Our floor had a vending machine. There was in room coffee, decaf, and tea, along with a mini fridge. The location was excellent with many restaurants, shops, and the bus terminal within easy walking distance. They also have a room to store luggage on your day of departure. I would definitely stay here again.

The bed was very comfortable! A nice, clean compact space. The air con hummed not unusual, and 2 of the 3 lights wouldn't turn off. Window for light faced building next door 444. The cooked breakfast had good variety. The pancakes were vegan which was a great option, they were a bit dry. The eggs, bacon, mushrooms, hash browns, pastries, sausage and apple juice were very good.

Loved this location — right in town and super close to my daughter’s school, Ara. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the room was the perfect place for our family of six to relax and sleep. The separate room with two bunk beds worked brilliantly for the kids. We’d happily stay again.

We booked a standard queen room which include breakfast. This was on their BreakFree web site. When we ask they said it was not on their reservation. I pointed out it was on there web site which said breakfast include. Talk to the Manager he justed argue with me.nAlso no spaces to put suitcases & hanging up clothes. Our room was overlooking industrial buildings. Not a nice view considering we paid $329.00 per night. Not worth the costnThe service was below par. Would not recommend.
