Novotel Christchurch Cathedral Square

Perfect location just right in the middle of town next to the square and the city library.nWe only back in Christchurch for a couple nights to visit family member so we decided to stay in the city central so we can walk to food and some museums when we have free time.nI love the view of buildings and the mountains backdrop from our room. Spacious room with comfortable bed and a great shower.nSmooth and quick check in! Jenny at the reception was super friendly and helpful, she was making sure we were okay with finding the right car park and the online form. We had a some food at dinner in the Square restaurant and Patrick was very friendly and professional!nBreakfast was classic and good quality especially a fresh cut fruits.

We had a good stay at Novotel Christchurch. The location was great and so was the room. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious.nnThe buffet breakfast was quite repetitive, with the same limited menu offered every day during our 4-day stay. And the room service was extremely slow. We waited 1 hour for some chicken nuggets and fries for the kids.

Third time stay at Novotel Christchurch and again a positive experience. FOH @ check in were polite but not invasive. Nothing was too much trouble as work had not included my accor details and emails. Room was fine. Had dinner at the bar on level1 and again great service and attention to detail. People seem to like to work there which makes it a great place to visit...

My family and I stayed in the hotel for a long weekend. We were able to check in early and the location was great. There was no chaise lounger in our room, which was a pain. The hotel was nice and quite however, and the cleaning lady was a delight to talk too.
