Commodore Airport Hotel

Got put up here by the airline, and it was a pleasant surprise.nService was great, all the staff I interacted with were helpful and efficient.nRoom was good. The TV was hard to get working for casting and a bit flaky, hopefully they're working on that.nThe garden area was very nice, if you had to spend a day here I imagine it could be very relaxing.nThe shuttle service was excellent too.

This place is the best I have stayed at yet. It is huge. The owners have done a beautiful job of building it over time, adding more buildings, creating more rooms. I loved the outdoor area by the pool. The bar/restaurant was great. The conference rooms were well equipped and comfortable. The food was delicious. The staff were very helpful and pleasent to talk to. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here even though it was not a pleasure trip. This place deserves a high rating. It is beautiful inside as well as outside. Plenty of off street parking if you are driving. It is minutes from the airport and there is a motel shuttle if you are not driving. From my room in what they call the glass building I could not even hear any planes and my room backed towards the airport. I loved the little stream that ran along my balcony on the ground floor, I had a pair of ducks paddling in a pool right outside my door. I thought it was a real stream but it is turned off at night then on again in the morning. The whole place is spectacular. You have to go and stay to get that special vibe I came home with.

Amazing pool and spa. Friendly staff. Great bar and garden courtyard. Too much National party memorabilia on the walls . My fridge didn’t work and my food spoiled and there was no replacement fridge available and no one cared so points lost there.

Amazing Hotel. Very clean and comfortable stay. Pool/Spa are both awesome. Kids loved it. The Restaurant was amazing for Breakfast. Will definitely stay here again!.

A delightful surprise to stay at this excellent clean, well presented hotel last night. Exceptional facilities, spacious comfortable rooms, beautiful gardens and a restaurant with food so good I'd recommend it to anyone in Chch hotel guests or otherwise. You would certainly be pleased with the decision to stay at the Commodore Airport Hotel.
