Novotel Christchurch Airport

This hotel is perfect for travelers with red-eye flights, especially before picking up a car and driving to other areas. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and quiet, with the added convenience of having the toilet and shower separated.nnThe breakfast buffet was splendid, offering a wide spread of different food choices. The view of the airport from the dining area added a unique touch to the experience. Overall, a highly recommended stay for convenience and comfort.

The location is only feet from the airport terminal and nearly the entire walk has a covered path.nThe hotel is well maintained and the staff are really friendly. They were happy to store our luggage after we checked out.nThe location is also within less than 10 minute walk to the International Antarctic Centre and the Spitfire shopping centre. This allowed for a nice day of entertainment and food options at the shopping centre.nThe hotel itself has a really nice restaurant with an amazing view of the mountains and airport. The food was nice and a reasonable price for daytime snacks with a few vegetarian options.nThe breakfast buffet was overpriced, given the options, and especially so if you are vegetarian.nThe rooms were so quiet that we forgot how close we were to the airport.nWill certainly stay here again.

I was put up in the Novotel due to a flight cancellation along with the rest of the flight. The staff upon us all arriving were very helpful, friendly and handled the busy time very well. The lobby was very inviting and glamorous. The hotel room I was assigned was beautiful, extremely clean and tidy. The facilities in the room were also great! I ordered room service which was super easy through a QR code, the food was beautifully presented, extremely tasty and didn’t take long to arrive at all. I also pre ordered breakfast which arrived on time, delicious and I even got a curtesy call to say it was on the way. The bed was extremely comfortable and luxurious, black out blinds helped for a good sleep and I was not disturbed by the planes despite it being right to the airport.nThe check out process was easy and staff were again very friendly. I would definitely choose to stay at Novotel as opposed to only staying if I were to experience a cancelled flight again!

The room was very clean and modern. Beds were comfortable and had good water pressure in the bathroom. The breakfast was quick and easy. Only thing I wished was that the special offers on the bar mulled wine, gins etc were offered in the room service.

I arrived in a tricky situation very happy to be greeted by staff who went the extra mile. The staff were incredible. Extremely helpful, understanding and conversant. The check in process was efficient as was checking out. Level 6 dining is a very welcome addition to the Christchurch airport facilities.
