Novotel Christchurch Airport

The property is incredibly conveniently located to everything - to the rental car return and to the terminal - all an easy walk. The rooms were comfortable and very quiet surprisingly so since it is right next to the airport. I never heard a plane. It is definitely sound construction.nnIt was the most expensive place we stayed during our visit, but because of our early departure, the convenience was worth the premium. And there was a luggage scale in the lobby so we could confirm our suitcases were not overweight !nnOne room had some minor cleanliness issues a chair with dirty upholstery, but the space was otherwise well maintained.

The room was clean, stylish and staff were helpful. We paid extra for a good view of the runway. Restaurant also had really nice food. You are paying for the view and the location though, there were no complaints but I can't say we were 'wow'd' by the room or experience to justify the price. We found the website difficult to navigate for more information and emails sent prior to arrival weren't answered.

My husband and I were impressed as soon as we walked into the Novotel Christchurch Airport. We loved the layout, the unique way they displayed the room numbers, and the overall ambiance. Being within walking distance of the airport was incredibly convenient, especially with an early flight and a toddler. We’re definitely coming back!

This hotel is perfect for travelers with red-eye flights, especially before picking up a car and driving to other areas. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and quiet, with the added convenience of having the toilet and shower separated.nnThe breakfast buffet was splendid, offering a wide spread of different food choices. The view of the airport from the dining area added a unique touch to the experience. Overall, a highly recommended stay for convenience and comfort.

Just right out of the airport! extremely great location. Very nice breakfast with the view of the airport runway. Dinner is great as well. Very comfortable and clean guest room. Very helpful staff.
