Travelodge Hotel Wellington

We were quite happy with the Wellington Travelodge. The hotel is in a convenient central location and we thought the laneways access was terrific. The room was modern but showing signs of wear but clean and tidy. We also got a high floor and the room was very quiet. The bathroom was terrific and the staff helpful and courteous. The price we paid was very competitive with other hotels in the city

Great location and, amazing customer service.definately recommend staying here. Easy parking on site. Very comfy beds.nOnly negatives for us was no sink with the kitchenette and no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Great stay, thank you

I stayed here as they advertised the room as sound proof, but I could hear the person next door pacing up & down in his room all evening. Then around 9.10pm I could hear the shower turn on for approx 10 mins. I also couldn't get any sound from tv1 or tv2 & rang reception, & they said they were aware of it. That all rooms had issues. Also I was staying Fri & Sat night & was informed they weren't doing dinner or room service. Information I would of liked to have known before I booked my stay :

Harbour view was amazing and location for us couldn't be beaten. Only down side which not really a biggie but bowls in room size of saucers and no option for caffeine free tea. Staff are lovely and rooms slightly dated but very clean. We will stay here again.

Hotel is in prime location, which rescues it from a dismal rating. Service was very average, rude pink haired woman on front desk with no customer service skills. Someone else's toothbrush left in the bathroom between guests. Extremely old TV didn't have volume on free to air channels - looking back through reviews this hotel wide issue seems to have been for a least 1-2 months. Location however was excellent, close to everything and we could walk everywhere. Won't stay again however, better choices elsewhere
