Absolutely outstanding stay with the Oaks Wellington Hotel!nnWe were greeted by friendly welcoming staff who were helpful and enthusiastic!nnI was extremely impressed with the room, and the attention to detail for our comfort. The heatpump has been turned on prior to our arrival, so the space was cozy and warm. Exceptionally clean, with luxurious facilities and decor, the shower in particular was huge!nnI had mentioned upon booking it was my partners birthday, to which a lovely treat was left in the room, and drinks vouchers gifted to celebrate - a really lovely touch that felt like genuine effort from the property to make our stay special.nnLocation was perfect, walking distance to several major sites which made it easy to navigate around the city.nnOverall, extremely impressed with our stay, we will be back, and highly recommend this property to others. A lovely stay during an otherwise rainy Wellington long weekend. Was there to celebrate my birthday and greatly appreciated that it was acknowledged and enjoyed the drink vouchers. Staff were lovely to deal with. We would have stayed an extra night but the ABs game meant was little availability left and the rates were much higher than the nights we had booked.nnRoom was everything we needed, large comfortable bed, TV for casting, plenty of accessible power points. Room was tidy and barring the usual marks and small scraps of paint was in good condition. The only other comment I'd make as the bathroom needing some brighter lighting as was harder for my partner to do her makeup with very 'mood' lighting in there.nnIf you're driving, parking is a bit tight even if you have a small car and apparently every SUV also considered themselves 'small cars' and took as much space as they could so that could have been managed better.nnOverall would happily stay again

We had a weekend holiday in Wellington and decided to stay at oaks hotel. This hotel was perfect for 2 adults and a 1 year old. We definitely enjoyed our trip.nAlong this trip we were celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary and noted that when booking. They definitely had a very sweet surprise for us in our room.nWe enjoyed our services ordering breakfast was very delicious and right on time.nWe enjoyed the room and how easy it was to connect to the tv. The bathroom was nice and spacious, very clean.nThe bed was so comfortable and able to fit all of us.nnOutside the hotel right across the road is a Nandos which was perfect for dinner especially with a hungry 1 year old. There are also bus stops right outside the entrance and there’s a 24hour food mart up the road I’d say a 3-5 min walk. We loved it overall and they even held our bags after check out, even when we requested a later check out which was at 2pm. We were served well by all the staff at reception both night and day staff. The hotel is very clean, modern and safe the key cards are used to go up in the elevator and to open your door to your room.nnThank you for the kind and generous hospitality oaks hotel we enjoyed ourselves a lot!!

Our first time staying at Oaks Wellington hotel and it was a great experienced! The services were fantastic and staff were very friendlynRoom was perfect, clean and comfortable.nWe definitely come back

First, the staff were all excellent, and the room was quiet and clean.nnHowever, avoid the car park at all costs although even cost wise it is probably cheaper to park in one of the large car parks near by.nnThis car park is the smallest, most cramped thing I've ever seen. When it fills up, it becomes impossible to maneuver. We had to ask for a new parking space after our first parking space became physically impossible to get to, simply when two other cars parked near it. Getting our tiny sedan out without scratches took a careful, slow 20 minutes. And in the end, the car still ended up scratched, and of course it did; we personally watched large vehicles struggle to even pass through, let alone park and they really should have been not sold a spot to begin with, so who knows what poor drivers ended up hitting while we weren't there to see.nnYou might think you're a better driver than me, and sure, that might be true. But I've driven in cramped cities as long as I've been driving, and skill can only get you so far when space is this tight. Good luck.
