The room was spacious and well laid out, with a sleek bathroom, good water pressure, and quality amenities that made the stay comfortable and fuss-free.nnA special mention goes to David at the front desk, who truly stood out. He was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful from the moment I arrived. His efficiency, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made the check-in experience seamless and welcoming, setting a very positive tone for the stay.nnOne thing to note is that certain requests do come with additional charges, such as room service or specific add-ons. This wasn’t an issue, but it’s helpful to be aware of so expectations are clear upfront.nnOverall, well-located, well-maintained, and supported by excellent service — Oaks Wellington Hotel is a solid choice, and David is a real credit to the team. I would happily stay here again.

We booked via booking.com and reserved a 9th floor self contained-self serviced flat.nBeds were comfy great views good shower. A really good find.nWe only had buffet breakfast in the hotel which was good.nQuiet a few eating/ drinking around.nWould return.

Good buffet breakfast with eggs, sausages, cold cuts, potatoes and the like, easy to have a big breakfast before you start your day. Room was a decent size with a nice bathroom, great shower. No complaints at all and very friendly front counter staff. Would highly recommend. Close to Te Papa and other attractions.

I’ve been to the Oaks Hotel several times. Stayed last night the room was great the staff on reception are great but breakfast was appalling. Went to get a cup of tea and was told they had run out of milk!!!! Went to get scrambled eggs which had just come out of the kitchen they were cold the bacon and sausage very poor quality it’s really gone down hill. I won’t be recommending this hotel again unfortunately as previously.

Room was spacious, comfortable bed, great location and the fit out is modern good TV with casting. However, the towels were quite stained, it looked like they hadn’t even been washed. We called reception who asked us to take the towels down ourselves to the reception to replace them, as they had limited housekeeping. Carpark is super tight as well.
