ibis Wellington

Best thing about it is the location. The desk staff were pleasant. But the room was pretty average and there were no power points bedside the bed 2 power points in the room. Not much of a view, but that was no big deal.nnThe beds were comfortable.nnThe floor hadn't been vacuumed, which was pretty gross, other people's hair and bits. We phoned reception after the first night and they said they'd get it vacuumed, but when we got back that evening it hadn't been done. Luckily we weren't staying a third night.

Great location as it is in the centre of the city. All of the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The food was delicious.nnOne bugbear is that Vivant Restaurant advertises on their menu a T-Bone Steak, which we were really looking forward to having, however we were told that this hasn't been available for months. Therefore it should have been taken off the menu.

Very clean, very convenient. Quiet, felt safe. Breakfast seemed mega expensive, so we ate out instead. Many local cafes to chose from. Bed very comfortable, shower good and hot.

Hotel was clean, felt safe, however, rooms are dated and noisy. Doors slaming when other guests come and go reverberation is quite strong and that wakes you up. I stayed during the week for business, sleep was not great. Heat pump was also very noisy.

Great experience from the moment i stepped up to the receptiob to check in. Bambam was outstanding. I was early and SHE offered to see if there was a room for me. Usually i have to ask for a room and/or an upgrade! what a breath of fresh air!nAnd Alice in the restaurant was just as competent, friendly and professional!nThey are an asset to your establishment.
