Sojourn Apartment Hotel - Riddiford

Stayed for 3 weeks while family in Wellington Hospital. Staff were fantastic. Extremely helpful, couldn't do enough to help us. We didn't know how long we were staying and had to extend numerous times. They were more than accommodating.nRooms clean and service amazing. Everything we needed. Would stay again if needed. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough especially for those whose family member is receiving care at the Hospital. I booked a petite-double room room 106 for 5 days pre and post surgery of my husband. Our room had great view of the street and it's large window brought plenty sun, making me feel very positive and refreshed each day. The coffee machine and provided pods were lovely touch. The hotel is literally 2 minutes walking distance from the hospital. I was coming home late at night but the walk back was short and felt safe.nnThe holtel staff were very friendly and so helpful. I had to extend my stay day by day after my original booking had ended as we didn't know when my husband was getting discharged. They let me stay in the same room so that I didn't need to shift my luggage etc.nnNewtown shops are just right outside, and if I needed to go to CBD, the bus stop was also pretty much outside the hotel. There were numerous bus heading to CBD every 10 mins or so. I walked back from CBD a few times, which was around 40mins. Nice stroll looking at different buildings etc.nnI thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will be back for sure. The best accommodation in Wellington especially if you are here for the hospital.

We had a pleasant stay at Sojourn Riddiford. We booked the Family Suite, and the staff were very considerate even before we arrived, confirming bed preferences, parking, and offering a cot for our son. Looking at the photos, we thought the room would be smaller, but it turned out perfect. We were also lucky to be informed at 10am that our room was already ready for check-in. The hotel is clean, well equipped, and in a very convenient location and even has a supermarket within walking distance. You may hear some sirens since it’s across from a major hospital, but once the door is closed it’s totally manageable. Our son even loved seeing a rescue helicopter up close!nnOverall a comfortable and convenient place to stay for families.

Had a lovely stay at Sojourn Apartments. The apartment was beautifully presented, comfortable, and had everything I needed. It felt calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully set up with sweet personalised touches. Communication was easy and friendly, making the whole experience stress-free. 10/10 for service, privacy and location!nnI was booked in for 2 nights because my sister was flown to Wellington hospital from Nelson late at night on an air ambulance.nnThere was no availability in Ronald McDonald house and Sojourn was more than accomodating.nThe super late check in wasn’t a problem as I arrived after 12pm.nThey were absolutely lovely showing me everything I needed so late at night.nEvery staff member I have seen including the cleaners have been welcoming and kind.nnI was even delivered a breakfast to my door and it was delicious.nThe beds are comfy, the wifi is good, location is top tier, main bus stops for both directions are right outside the building, access in and out was easy. I didn’t have a vehicle but I did see they had guest parking also.nnWould highly reccomend this place to stay as I honestly couldn’t fault it!nThanks heaps for a awesome stay.
