QT Wellington

Conveniently near a lot of great walkable restaurants definitely check out the Library cocktail bar!. I loved the hippo vibe. We had a kind of fancy room with a really cool tub and shower.

Location is great for the waterfront and museum. We had a little balcony overlooking the museum and main street but was very quiet at night. I to downside is the shower will cover the whole bathroom with water. very poor design.

On arrival at 6pm I had to wait for my room to be ready, a small inconvenience and fine.nnAfter specifically booking the QT, where I have stayed before, and confirming my expectations, I was put into the museum apartment hotel, a neighbouring hotel with far different specifications.nnUnfortunately, the hotel has deliberately sold rooms under the QT brand then knowingly placed guests into the neighbouring hotel. It has the feel of a scam and caused.nnPlease be very very careful when booking with this hotel.

Snazzy rooms although they are a little bit of style over substance. Same with public bathrooms. Mirrors all over room’s bathroom are a bit off-putting. Nice sized room with large comfy bed. Breakfast underwhelming. Staff helpful and friendly. Location great for museums and harbour.

Location perfect for the reason why I was In Wellington. Room was equipped well, air con quite noisy otherwise ok.nParking information was not given adequately. Staff were friendly, if I had to go again I would definitely consider this place. Didn't dine here so I can not say if the food was good or bad, looked great while waiting for a coffee, saw a few people be served. Don't know the quality or price of the food so can't comment.
