QT Wellington

On arrival at 6pm I had to wait for my room to be ready, a small inconvenience and fine.nnAfter specifically booking the QT, where I have stayed before, and confirming my expectations, I was put into the museum apartment hotel, a neighbouring hotel with far different specifications.nnUnfortunately, the hotel has deliberately sold rooms under the QT brand then knowingly placed guests into the neighbouring hotel. It has the feel of a scam and caused.nnPlease be very very careful when booking with this hotel.

Great location. Friendly staff. The art and decor is breathtaking. Our room had a great view of the harbour. Clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at the QT for 3 nights in mid October after being upgraded from the Museum Apartment Hotel.nThe room 406 was excellent with a balcony beautiful views of the harbour and TePapa museum. The room and bathroom was spacious and the bed was relatively comfortable.nThe staff were always very kind and the location is second to none.nI have stayed in other 4-5star places in Wellington but would definitely recommend the QT and the room we had.

The hotel lost my second night’s booking so I had to change hotels in the middle of a busy conference.nI ordered breakfast mentioning I was in a hurry but they did not put the order through.nIt’s a beautiful hotel but having a booking is pretty critical.nUpdate: they charged my card for a mini bar item. I didn’t take anything from the mini bar so had to contact them to have it reversed.

Location perfect for the reason why I was In Wellington. Room was equipped well, air con quite noisy otherwise ok.nParking information was not given adequately. Staff were friendly, if I had to go again I would definitely consider this place. Didn't dine here so I can not say if the food was good or bad, looked great while waiting for a coffee, saw a few people be served. Don't know the quality or price of the food so can't comment.
