Atura Wellington

Was here for one night on Saturday, the service was excellent. The restaurant and bar was just as good, a nice place to relax and unwind. The rooms were a little small, but had everything i needed for a relaxing evening. The Dyson fan was awesome at heating the room to the perfect temperature.

Clean room on the smaller side but perfectly OK. Bed super comfortable. There is parking round the back with lift from basement. Good front desk welcome. Fantastic location and super price. Our new go to hotel for Wellington

Second time I have stayed at the Atura as a single night layover, each time has been great, customer service is excellent, food is excellent, rooms are pretty standard but clean and warm and very comfy mattress and has all the essentials. only issue can be is the parking as it’s very limited so if hotel is fully booked would be a hassle to find parking but lucky each time I have been parking has not been a issue. So if you want a one stop shop that Is good rooms, good meals and breakfast definitely the place to stay

We chose Atura as it said it had carparks, and we wanted to treat ourselves to a nice place, which we thought this would be, given the price. We arrived and were told there was no parking available and we would have to park on the street. We asked where nearby parking buildings were and were told just to try our luck. Over half an hour later, we found a park on the street.nThe room was small and in need of some love. The shower walls had putty where holes had been plugged. Edges were dirty. It's definitely not worth the $366 we paid.

The room had everything you need for a one nights stay apart from proper form of aircon. The little unit in the room was a heater or a fan or you had a choice of this little dyson looking fan which both were really loud and didn't do any justice to circulate the room unfortunately it was a very hot and humid night. The restaurant was fabulous. Food was delicious and service was prompt. I would definitely go back again but hopefully get a room with a better form of aircon next time.
