Rydges Wellington Airport

Perfect for if you're in Wellington briefly or are arriving on a very late or very early flight. Rooms are very clean and modern. The hotel is literally in the airport so you're not even having to cross streets or walk far. You can see planes take off and taxi from here.nMake sure you get the breakfast. Rydges does a good buffet breakfast. Kids eat free.

Flew in for a couple of nights. Enjoyed my stay. I love plane-watching and asked for the best room for it! It was a treat. The room was spotless, friendly staff, fab breakkie in bed, so convenient and rentals and buses straight downstairs.nI was on the 5th floor and the hallway carpet could do with a good steam clean but otherwise...I loved it and will stay again.

Have just stayed for 3 nights for a series of work meetings, Rydges was perfect. So nice not having to go far! Rooms were very clean, tidy, and modern. Breakfast was delicious, as was other food. But the highlight was the friendly staff - nothing was ever a problem and everyone I interacted with was chatty and friendly and super helpful. It made such a difference to being away from home.

We were lucky enough to have a 2 night stay at this hotel during the weekend of cyclone vianau.nnWe had a lovely room overlooking the runway and were able to watch the planes take off and land.nnThe room was very clean and comfortable and suited our needs perfectly.nnThe peloton bar was a lovely place to have an afternoon drink.nnThe hotel is very convenient, especially for our 4am check in.nnAll of the staff were very helpful in assisting us to upgrade our room.nnI would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our flight landed close to midnight and staying at the airport was the best decision we made. Rolling right into bed made all the difference for starting our vacation right. This is not a very busy airport at night, so you’ll get good sleep and will wake up to the most gorgeous ocean views.nnThanks to our jet lag brain we accidentally left a couple of jumpers hanging in the closet. Anshuman at the front desk was extremely helpful arranging them to be sent to Rydges Auckland.nnThank you again for this exceptional service!
