I stayed at Mantra Circle on Cavill with my family and I can honestly say we’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in Surfers Paradise, no doubt about it!nnWe had an ocean view apartment and the view was absolutely stunning. You could see right across the heart of Surfers Paradise, the city, the beach, and all the way the sides from level 14. It was honestly value for money. The apartment was super clean, from the bedrooms and bathrooms to the kitchen, fridge, and even the cutlery. The beds were so comfy too, I slept well.nnThis hotel really had it all. The amenities were amazing — there are three pools to choose from. The one on the south side is more private and peaceful, while the two on the north side are bigger and great for families, with a BBQ area, sauna, spa, park, and even a games room. There was always something to do.nnCan’t wait to come back! Highly recommend this place if you're heading to the Gold Coast. 5/5!!!
Our ocean view 1 bedroom apartment was absolutely fantastic. The entire apartment was spotlessly clean with modern amenities. The air-conditioning was excellent. The in room spa bath was divine. The building is safe and secure with lifts accessible from every floor. The pools were wonderful. The block out blinds were fantastic and the room had little to no outside noise. I highly recommend staying here. It was amazing!!
Great big room & amazing views. Its 10 out of 10. The service is different topic.nI had to ask to feel up the shampoo & bodywash on both bathrooms.nThey was empty from the day one.nVery dusty. Was given the feeling that the room was empty for a while & that no one bother to check it before they give the keys to us.nAlso people was smoking on the balcony's cigarettes & not only...nNot so good for my 4 years old son to smell...nBut yes.nBut under than that, it was an amazing room.
HUGE 2 bedroom unit in prime position. In great condition with big TV's in the lounge and main bedroom which also had a spa. Shower pressure, usually a downer for most stays was unbelievable. Nice large outdoor balcony with table and chairs. Also, had other family staying with us in another great unit. Their only downside was the much smaller TV in the lounge room. Everything else matched our room. Based on the rooms we had you cannot go wrong staying in this great complex.
The location is perfect and the staff are all really lovely. The property though is in a state of disrepair and needs refurbishment.nnThe first room we had, I asked to move, as there was mold surrounding the air con vents, the furniture was grubby and the room smelt bad.nnThe new room was better, but still had damaged furniture - outdoor table had a leg attached with a cable tie, dining table was worn/scratched, kitchen cupboard doors had had water damage, the range hood and lights were well rusted and badly damaged. It also wasn't very clean, the plates and bowls were dirty the top one looked clean, but the ones under had sauce and food remnants on them. We had to run the dishwasher to clean all the cutlery and crockery before it was usable. The washing machine was also dirty see pic it even had someone's underwear in it, we also found underwear in the dryer. The tap on the bath needs to be replaced, the water flow is so restricted it takes forever to fill.nnThe entire apartment is old and tired and just needs a refresh.nnThere is water damage in the dining area on the ceiling, which may be due to recent cyclones and not previously noticed.nnWe were staying during the power outage in the cyclone, we are locals. It was great having air con and power our house was out for 11 days but the quality of the hotel could be improved. I expected more from a Mantra to be honest.nnphotos - state of the crockery in the apartment, the dirty washing machine, and the view from our window of the burning building next door
