Clean, cheap bar, friendly crowd. Definitely one of the better hostels I have stayed in. The kitchen has all the equipment you need. And the price is good for gold coast consisting I booked very last minute ( same day). The 30$ club night is also very good value. Would recommend x

A bit run down in places but has an amazing vibe and super friendly staff. The staff clean all day but can still get messy due to us Backpackers, I stayed in a large dorm which they clean twice a day which I thought was good. Small kitchen but still manageable. Overall it’s a fun hostel with a great atmosphere.

Rules, rules, rules.... Hardly paradise. Unless a creaky bunkbed, dirty kitchen and unpleasant fellow guests. Can't take in your own alcohol, can't take food into the rooms, I'm surprised there isn't a rule about not having fun, too. Also, only one toilet for guests (excluding the ones in the rooms) by the pool?? One toilet? Despite having a bar, one toilet for all? Get outta here.

Too expensive for what they offer, room only have fan, no air conditioning, they only have 1 bathroom/toilet per room, so if you stay in 20 bed room, imagine. Also I have stay here 4 night and nobody have come to clean the room so the floor is dirty you can see sand everywhere. Not recommend this place. The staff is amazing but the accommodation itself is not.

It's such a shame that this hostel is awful because the staff are nice enough and it's in a great location but the facilities are atrocious. Most of the plug sockets in our room didn't work, luckily I have an extension cable but everyone in the room was sharing this and I'm sure not everyone would have their own cable! The kitchen is an absolute mess, there are not enough pots or pans or cutlery or ANYTHING the kitchen is so small I've had to wait an hour before just to cook my dinner as there aren't enough hobs/equipment available. Along with this the mattresses are of appalling quality and the beds make so much noise everyone is woken up if the person above/below them rolls over let alone gets up and comes back from the toilet. The pillows are also old and yellow stained and the feathers clumped from being damaged by heat in the wash and should have been thrown out years ago. The toilet lights are also automatic along with the fan with a door that did not close waking people up at night. It's basically like staying at a bar not a hostel, if you want some space or time away from everything there is no opportunity to do so as most people are being loud and drinking most nights which is heavily encouraged.
