Great location! Room was a little dusty in some parts but we weren't too bothered. Unfortunately breakfast buffet was repetitive for being there for 5 of them. But great hotel. Ordered from Driftwood food was delicious. And the cocktails. Will stay again
Amazing experience at this hotel. I had a couple of issues with noisy guests waking me during the night. The manager was amazing and so empathic which means the world when your so tired. I received a free upgrade to a club suite on the top floor as well as a couple of complimentary drinks. Was great customer service. Also, I had trouble zipping up my dress for a formal dinner. The receptionist went above and beyond to help me out. Again, amazing customer service that lots of hotels do not provide. The bar staff next to the pool also great customer service. The breakfast was average but again, the staff were very attentive which is what a hotel experience is about for me. The beds are very comfortable as well. The team at this hotel are exceptional and obviously follow a great leader. Highly recommend.
Brenden at the outside bar was fantastic! Amazing customer service and a good laugh. The spa was great and so nice to relax in. The rooms were good, bathroom a little dated but no issues. Make sure you are under 2m if you want to park as the roof is very low. Overall very happy with this hotel!
Arrived late in the evening and check in was made easy with helpful reception staff. However, the $30 parking fee was unexpected..... Got up to the room which appeared to be clean for the most part. The bathroom unfortunately was tired. The shower was manageable but I can't imagine someone taller being able to shower comfortably as the space was confined at best. Not to mention the slipping hazard....On our first evening, we had our two visits from the cockroaches who appeared to be getting in through a gap in the floor. We stuffed tissue into the gap to prevent anymore access for the critters. There was substantial mould in the bathroom area and behind the curtains unfortunately. Overall, the staff very very helpful, especially the breakfast staff who were very helpful and kind. The location is great - close to surfers paradise and the view from our room was amazing!
We were quite disappointed with our stay. Upon arrival, the woman at reception was noticeably unwelcoming, which set a negative tone from the beginning 10 July .nThe room itself was average, but the bathroom was quite dated. The shower was difficult to operate, and if you’re paying extra for a bath, don’t bother, it’s more like a baby tub and not worth the additional cost.nnThe breakfast buffet was another letdown. The eggs tasted like undercooked pancake a mix of flour, eggs, and milk,and there were very few options overall. Definitely not worth the extra spend.nnWhile our room did have a nice view, it was right next to the main road, so we were constantly disturbed by traffic noise throughout the night.nnOverall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on the price they’re charging. For the outdated facilities and the quality of service, it should be significantly more affordable.
