Our stay at QT Gold Coast was truly wonderful. The hotel has such a stylish, vibrant atmosphere, and everything from the lobby to the rooms feels modern, clean, and full of character. Our room was comfortable, beautifully designed, and had great views that made the stay even more enjoyable.nnWe also want to acknowledge the hotel’s exceptional service. When our balcony door wasn’t working, the team handled the situation with great care and professionalism. As a gesture of goodwill, they offered us complimentary breakfast and parking — something we appreciated very much. It really showed their commitment to making guests feel valued and comfortable.nnThe breakfast was delicious with a great variety, and the overall experience felt relaxing and memorable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend QT Gold Coast for its quality, style, and excellent customer service.
QT has unfortunately gone downhill. It used to be one of my favourite hotels on the Gold Coast, but my recent stay was very disappointing.nnBreakfast has been moved to the ground floor and the quality has significantly declined. The selection was very average and nothing like the impressive spread previously offered in the restaurant. Had I known about this change, I would not have booked a rate that included breakfast.nnThe balcony was also unusable, which I understand and am not bothered. However, the glass was so dirty that it was hard to properly appreciate the “view” that I had paid extra for.nnStaff appeared unhelpful and poorly informed. I ordered a couple of drinks and had my membership discount applied without issue. Then we ordered pizza. After I requested the same discount on a subsequent beer, only to be told by another staff member that the discount could not be applied unless food was ordered, I had already ordered food and ate it. I was also told that the previous staff members were “wrong” and that this was the “correct” policy, which was both confusing and unprofessional.nnI was advised that a manager would come and speak with me to clarify the situation, but this never happened.nnTo make matters worse, I had recommended QT and booked three rooms for myself and my friends. Unfortunately, I now regret convincing them to stay here.nnOverall, the experience fell well short of the standards I previously associated with QT.
We were very impressed with this hotel. The staff were attentive and friendly, the room was comfortable with a beautiful view, and the buffet breakfast was absolutely delicious. The pool area was also a standout. The hotel is in a convenient location, close to the beach and shops. We booked a package that included parking, breakfast, and drink and meal vouchers, which our kids thoroughly enjoyed. My husband also thought the gym was excellent. Overall, a fantastic stay and we’ll definitely be back.
This is a stunning hotel with literally everything at your doorstep. The pool area is amazing and so relaxing and the room itself is really clean and spacious. I’ve never slept so well - the QT mattresses are like nothing else!nnWe utilised literally everything the hotel had to offer, including dining at both Stingray and Yamagen which was incredible as well as having the Halloween high tea which was really fun and a couples session at the day spa. This was so, so relaxing and a lovely way to spend our Sunday afternoon.nnWe came here for my birthday and the hotel staff who went out of their way to make it very special. Can’t wait to be back
We love QT at Surfers Paradise. It's in a great location and the rooms are a great size. The king beds are so comfortable that we want to buy one ourselves. The breakfast is amongst the best buffets I've had. The food and service is always great. A lovely manager even gave us credit to make up for some renovations occurring and we didn't pay a thing for food and drinks for our 3 night stay! We will be back.
