We had a wonderful stay at Paradise Resort Gold Coast. It’s extremely family-friendly, with a great water park and plenty of activities. My kids had a fantastic time, especially swimming today from 5–6pm. During that time, I lost my phone at the pool, but a young female staff member found it and tracked me down using the photos on my phone screen. I’m extremely grateful to her, and I’d love for the resort to know how amazing she was. The staff were all very friendly, and the check-out process was quick and easy. We definitely plan to return next time. It would be great if the dining menu could offer more variety, like Chinese, Vietnamese, or other cuisines. Highly recommended for families!
Paradise Resort is a fantastic place for kids, and we enjoyed our stay. The location is great, and there’s no shortage of activities to keep children entertained. The kids club and silent disco were the highlights for our kids who absolutely loved themnnThe main downside for us was the food at the restaurant. The vegetarian options were very limited, and the quality wasn’t great. For example, we ordered the vegetarian nachos for lunch one day and received nothing more than corn chips with sour cream, packet guacamole, and cheese sauce. No beans, salsa, or real cheese so was a bit disappointing. The continental buffet breakfast is super basic as well amd quite generic and bland but there were options to pay extra for hot cooked options but seemed a bit over pricednnAnother issue was that our room was never cleaned or towels changed unless we called to request it. On the days we didn’t call, no one came at all, so I’m not sure what happened there.nnOverall, though, it’s a great resort for families with young children. It’s not really the place to go if you’re hoping to relax, the pools are quite small and get very crowded, and there’s constant noise and activity from morning to night. It honestly feels a bit like being inside an episode of Cocomelon but since we came for the kids and they had a great time, we were happy with that.nnIf the resort improved its food menu with more variety and better quality and added a few quiet or chill out areas for parents, it would make for a much better all round experience. There was some construction happening during our stay, and it looks like they’re building a new pool, so we’re keen to see how it turns out once completed.
Great family friendly atmosphere, Plenty of activities for the children to keep them busy all day long. Staff are great and makes you feel comfortable. You don't have to leave the resort. The food is nice and there's quite a good variety.nI am looking forward to our next visit with the new adults only pool and bar area.nOnly down fall is that the buffet bfast closes at 10am
Stayed here as a family and the kids absolutely loved it, especially the outdoor water park, pools and activities. They spent most of the day outside and had an amazing time, which really made the stay worthwhile for us as parents.nThe staff were friendly and helpful, and the resort is clearly designed with families in mind. Parking is available but needs to be booked in advance and costs AUD 25 per day, so no issues once secured, just something to plan for ahead of arrival. However, the rooms felt quite dated, and more importantly, very noisy, at night we could hear a lot of noise from outside and surrounding areas, which made it hard to properly rest. For the price, we were expecting better room comfort and sound insulation.nOverall, this is a great resort for kids, and that’s the main reason we’re giving it 4 stars. If the rooms were upgraded and quieter, it would be an easy recommendation, but as it stands, it works best if your priority is keeping children entertained.
Great family friendly resort. Very relaxed atmosphere, considering there were so many young children, the staff were so friendly and accommodating! So many activities for the kids they will not be bored for a minute. We stayed over Halloween and they did so many little activities, played music, had trick or treating through the resort and even a 'haunted' spooky train ride. The pool, spa and waterparks kept the kids and us as parents busy most of the day, but close location to the beach and Cavill Ave kept us busy the rest of our time. Our kids are a little older, if you had younger kids you really wouldn't need to leave the resort at all. They also have a good arcade, indoor & outdoor playgrounds, mini mart, and Kids Club. Our room in Captains Quarters was modern, clean and good location, negative was no vent in the bathroom so very steamy and wet when you showered, water would also run out of the shower. The only negatives of our stay, the food and drinks are expensive you could bring alot of your own food, drinks & snacks but we didn't and where our room was located was right near the pool and play area, so we had parents and kids being very loud until 10pm and from 6am in the morning each day. If you want peace and quiet don't book near there! Noise restrictions are from 10pm-7am so I guess nothing really wrong with it. Overall we had a great time and would definitely go again with friends or family to make it even better. So much better than just a normal hotel near the beach when you have kids. Hope this review helps!
