Came here for a work conference and stayed over night.nStaff are amazing. Hotel itself is beautiful. Room was large, clean and very comfortable.nFood breakfast lunch and dinner were delicious.n100% would recommendnand 100% will be back
Beautiful outlook, lovely rooms, adequately supplied, comfortable beds, amazing breakfast venue, very well set up gym, amazing italian restaurant, incredible conference catering, and friendly helpful staff.nnOnly downsides would be having a conference with 500 guests and enough outdoor tables for about 40 is a missed opportunity, in NZ at this time there is no sun so we relish the chance to enjoy it, we're sitting in windowless rooms most the day so sitting out at lunch is a must.nnThen when showering in a shower over bath it leaks onto the floor and you have to be very careful not to slip in the river that is the floor and the mirror fogs right up as there is no real fan. These could be seen to.
We really enjoyed our stay at this resort! Amazing facilities for kids. Rooms are nice and spacious.nWould say this is a 4 star resort, not 5.nOutside building needs a big revamp. Food was pretty average. Variety at buffet but not sure the quality was there. Italian resteraunt also very average. Best to have a car if staying here.nGreat value!!
My recent experience at the RACV Royal Pines Resort for high tea was great. The resort itself is grand, with magnificent views that provide a serene and luxurious backdrop for the high tea experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed warmly, setting the tone for an enjoyable visit.nnThe resort has multiple buildings that can make navigation a bit tricky. However, the staff were extremely helpful and readily available to provide directions when needed, ensuring we didn't feel lost for long.nnThe high tea was exceptional. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and varied enough to satisfy different tastes. I couldn't fault the high tea itself; it was a delightful culinary experience that met all my expectations.nnHowever, there was one aspect of the service that I found disappointing. Initially, the staff seemed reluctant to serve us tea or coffee, almost as if we were being pressured into opting for the additional bubbles package instead. We had booked the high tea package specifically for the bottomless tea and coffee, so this reluctance was puzzling. Although we only ended up drinking about two cups per person, we had to ask multiple times before we were finally served the first cup.nnWhat left a particularly sour note was overhearing a manager questioning the waitress about why she served us tea and coffee. This incident was quite off-putting, as it seemed unreasonable to dictate when guests could enjoy their hot beverages. There was no prior warning when making the booking that tea and coffee would only be served after the food, which added to the frustration.nnDespite this hiccup, the overall service was good, and the staff were generally attentive and courteous. The food was superb, and the stunning view added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience.nnIn conclusion, while there was a minor issue with the service of tea and coffee, the RACV Royal Pines Resort high tea is an experience I enjoy. The great ambiance, delectable food, and beautiful views make it a worthwhile visit.
We stayed there for a weekend and its my new favourite spot for holiday stay on the Gold Coast.nnPros:nThe resort is huge with golf course, tennis court, spa, outside pool, and resturants. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are very spacious, tastefully set and tge view is amazing.nWe also did their breakfast buffet which is huge and good both days. The staff is very helpful and pleasant all the time.nnCons:nThe parking is too far from the main entrance. You have to walks from parking, around the tennis court, up an elevator ans then around their guest drop off area to reach the reception. The towels in the room are a bit rough, and the handwash, shampoo etc are very drying. I would recommend to bring your own.
