Yes. You need to go. Everyone needs to go. This place is so damn interesting and entertaining for all ages. We managed to book the aquarium swim (snorkel with rays, sharks etc) and I must say...I would do it again, in fact everyday. It gives you a complete new outlook as to the sea and the animals that exist within. Animals we would classify as dangerous and deadly are only so because we don't know how to treat them/react when in their world. Anyway, enough banging on about that...the jet ski show is very entertaining. I never knew such moves could be conducted without someone dying, but I was wrong. The dolphin show is also very interesting...they are such smart animals, get me every time. Its a huge place so I suggest you dedicate most of the day to it. Plenty of cafes to buy food/drink so you wont have to worry about bringing anything. Certainly gives you new perspective and awareness as to marine life, I would highly recommend.

Haven't been here since I was a teen (15 years ago) and now I have my own children. The amount of rides hasn't really increased (there weren't many back then) though it has a good children's area. The shows are plentiful which is a plus for all ages. There is a fair amount of walking between destinations. Great theme park but not one for thrill seekers...

We had a great time at Sea World. Perfect place for young kids. The sea life shows were great and the aquarium was amazing. Yes they are trying to make cash off you every step of the way (it is run by the same organisation that charges you $20 for a coke and popcorn at the movies!!) but if you pack a lunch and some water bottles you will be right. Our little ones loved the splash park and the monorail too. Go to the park to see the dolphins..don't go if you are seeking roller coaster rides.

We had so much fun at Sea World, it's a wonderful park to take your family to. We enjoyed the shows and the park itself, but we did not go on any of the rides because our son is only 2. The dolphin show is not to be missed. Take a towel and bathers for your little one as playing in the water is one of the most entertaining activities for them. If you go to Gold Coast with your toddler and have to choose between Movie World and Sea World I would definitely choose Sea World. I gave it 4 stars because the food you find in there is mostly junk food, there is not much choice for toddlers and when you are on a vacation you don't want them to eat junk food all day every day. This is not a problem at Sea World only, but because it is a place where you can spend most of the day and where so many families bring their children, I feel like there should be more healthy options. There are more ways to cook food and chips should not be the only side you can choose for a dish. Especially when Sea World wants to be an educational place as well.

Absolutely amazing! The kids were very interested in the monorail. Strongly recommend the glass bottom boat tour at the Shark Bay. The tour guide would correct many of our wrong opinions regarding sea animals. The Affinity Dolphin Presentation and Let Stunt Extreme were fantastic. The polar bears though were not very active during the day. It's probably because of the hot weather. The free soft drink top ups made the trip even more convenient. There are so much to talk about. Just come over and discover it yourself.
