Considering the great deal we got, I can't complain about anything. But there are a couple of things that new customers REALLY NEED to be aware of. There is not enough parking, and it gets competitive! You may end up parked streets away. Beware of yellow lines $200 fine. There is a microwave, toaster, kettle, and sandwich press in the kitchen. So be aware of this before spending hundreds of dollars on a food shop, expecting to cook your own meals. You can get creative, or bring something portable. EVERYTHING EXTRA COSTS! A room clean. Towels. Washing machines and dryers. We stopped asking about there. I wouldn't say we would not come back. But we would be better prepared. We have not experienced any of these hurdles at other establishments in the area. Walkability: It only took 20 minutes to walk to the middle of surfers paradise.
Room needed cosmetic work, numerous paint patches all over the walls. Not child friendly, we were on the 9th floor and no screens on doors. No screens/security on window which was above the 2nd bed and could be opened. As a parent, very concerning. We had a few cockroaches and air con was mouldy in the vents. Parking was a nightmare including the first come first serve secure parking. Curtains need replacing, do not keep sunlight out as they are not completely attached. Crazy you need to pay $5 per pool towel rental or $2.50 for extra bath towels to use the pool. No phone in room or information booklets. You need to scan a barcode, to download an app to get info. Apart from the unit itself being a disappointment, location is ok, outside is really nice, pool area clean and usable and staff were friendly. Will not return though. Safety: Do not bring kids unless you get a ground floor. No security on doors or windows
Outdated, false advertisement as 1 bedroom apartment etc hasn't got any cooking facilities besides one tiny microwave. No hot hob or oven in entire hotel so that makes it even lower level than studio as most studios have at least small oven and 1 or 2 hot hobs to cook on. Furniture and curtains old and it wasn't very clean, someone else's glass marks everywhere etc. PS All appliances are TINY. We were NOT impressed and still waiting for bond to come back a week later even IF we left place SPLOTTLES.
My daughter and I stayed for two night in January. The ladies on reception were all very lovely, friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean. Beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. The pool was fantastic. For the price, you can’t go wrongRooms: 4/5
Has a nice location and depending on your room you have a nice view too, there is no car park guaranteed, on busy hours you never find one. The pool is great, the spa is ok, the gym is not good, but not too bad also. It's good for holidays but not for living.Rooms: 3/5
Like most the reviews say, the hotel isn't very friendly. Our bed was uncomfortable as it didn't have brakes. So it rolled around all night Rock hard pillows $5 pool towel hire $200 bond for an older more modest hotel It feels more like a residential apartment than a hotel. Wouldn't recommend anyone stay here for a holiday. Altogether there's a bad vibe throughout the whole place.
Absolutely recommended the deluxe room! It was beautiful and gave us a wonderful view. The bed was super comfy, the bathroom was beautiful and the loungeroom was equipped with smart TV, AirCon, Tables and chairs and comfy couches! Will definitely be back.Rooms: 5/5
Was pleasantly surprised by how big the room is for the price. It's more like an apartment than a hotel room. Beds are lovely and comfortable. My only issue is the $200 preauthorisation that was taken on check in and after the room was paid for. We are still unsure how long it will take to get that back.Rooms: 4/5
Do not stay here! We stayed for 2 nights and it wasn’t the best. first thing that happened, we got off the elevator and the smell was disgusting, it was so horrible and unpleasant throughout the whole floor. We then got to our room, the space of the room was good for 2 people. Our bathroom sink was dirty, it had unpleasant stains on it, walls were also dirty, they had multiple marks on them. The light in the bathroom also flicked and didn’t turn on sometimes. Woke up on the first night to the Aircorn leaking water, then in the morning, it had made a massive puddle on the table and carpet, when telling reception what happened apparently a maintenance man came and checked it while we were out of the room and said it was fine but yet again the next morning it had leaked everywhere again. Overall don’t stay here it’s not worth the amount of money you have to pay! stay somewhere else.
Rooms were gross. We found a toenail from someone else on the floor, amongst other random things- clearly wasn’t vaccumed. The area in front of the balcony was full of bottles and other stuffhow hard is it to remove garbage? and the sinks stained. No breakfast included + they literally do not clean the room unless you stay longer than 8 days or pay extra. How disgusting… I thought it was a given in any hotel that the rooms were cleaned every day. Only good thing was the location
