Love the lagoon and artificial reef. We spent the days snorkeling with the exotic fish. Fish feeding is on at 9:30 and you can swim with them at the time.
 Buffet breakfast was excellent. Loved the eggs benedict.
Room service arrived really fast and was well made and delicious.
The staff were friendly and welcoming.
Clean and quiet rooms.
We ran out of conditioner and called for more. A friendly person was at our door in minutes, carrying a handful of bottles for us.
Dinner in bed and movie night every night rounded the days off nicely.

You can always guarantee a five star experience at the Marriott Surfers Paradise one of the better hotels on the Gold Coast. The rooms are always first class with a daily service, friendly staff, brand new linen and towels. The facilities a world-class one of the most beautiful pools on the Gold Coast and surrounding Gardens well maintained luscious and green and inviting. As well the food is always great even if it's just room service or to eat in the restaurant on the ground floor. You have a tram stop right out the front of the hotel and the concierge are always eager to help you with any of your needs. If you're after the five star experience you can't go past the Marriott on the Gold Coast.

Great service. Location is a short walk to Surfers Paradise or trams are the next bet. Views amazing especially out to the west at sunset. Room was nice, a little dated but still very comfortable and spacious. Would stay again.

A great hotel for a weekend escape to the Gold Coast. Staff are great and the pool awesome!
Big plus it's far enough out of surfers that you don't get the noise and hassles but close enough to walk in or catch the tram

Probably the best pool/lagoon area I've ever experienced! Marriott has been here a long time but it appears they've updated it recently. Typical Marriott in that you've everything you need in the hotel should you not want to brave Surfers Paradise (great restaurants, spa, lagoon with waterfall & slides!)
On checking out they had staff asking for feedback about our stay, the only reason we didn't give 5 stars was the elevator to parking was out & my wife thought the mattress was too firm.
