Had a wonderful stay at Mantra View Hotel. We got a lovely room with a great view, and it was spotless—big thanks to the home care team for maintaining such high standards.nnService throughout the stay was excellent. The hotel also offers a buffet breakfast, which was convenient, although it would be nice to see a bit of variety in the menu from day to day. Just a small suggestion, not a complaint.nnThe location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Surfers Paradise with the tram station just a short walk away.nKudos to the entire team for making our stay so comfortable. Highly recommended!
Great Location.nOnly a block from the beach.nGreat function room. We attended a function here so chose to stay few nights to relax and enjoy the region.nnWhilst the hotel is adequate, she is nearly at that time where she is ready for a refurb or a touch up at least.nNothing that will ruin your holiday but just general wear and tear.nI think that may be reflected in the price as from memory it was very slightly cheaper than the neighbours.nnWe did notice that one day our beds were simply pulled up and new towels given. No glasses cleaned or beds made. A little odd. new or lazy staff perhaps the following day the room team did much better.nnAs I don't hang out in the hotel I wasn't fazed but other may be.nIts old, so am I ; I'm not as shiny as I once was either - Hahah
Motel and room itself were fantastic. All you can eat breakfast, Friday night - happy hour pizza , snack and wine we're both fantastic.nUnfortunately Day Spa and Pool area were closed due to maintenance. Would be great if only one at a time were closed or opinions to use one of the other 2 local Mantra Motels Pool and Spa area were offered in exchange or discounted price was offered.nStill had a great holiday though. Thank youl
What a stunning hotel in superb location! Walked in the door to check in and instantly felt like a place to send a day or two. Easy check in process super glad we were told about the stairs to car park - luggage would have been difficult to carry up!nWalked into our room, which looked amazing, well presented and the review from the balcony was just what we expected. Beautiful salty air and the glorious sound of crashing waves. And with only a VERY short walk to because and food options, we were set.
I paid $150 to be in the heart of Surfers, with a room on the 17th floor I think there are 20 floors altogether with sweeping views of the ocean and a little balcony with a small table and chairs to walk out onto. The room was spacious with 2 double beds and a large bathroom with marble tiling. There were ample hand wash and shower gels/ shampoo etc in pump containers. The air con was 'vent in the wall' but had individual controls and worked well.nThis was very good value. $150 was a weekday price - Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights are obviously their peak times and the prices rise a fair bit.nThe staff at reception were absolutely lovely. If you are wanting newly renovated/ immaculately maintained you will probably need to go to another facility and pay a hundred or so more per night. I was happy to look past the scuff marks on the doors leading into the rooms for the cheap price, central location and the views.nThere is a buffet breakfast not included, at least at my rate but I didn't partake of it.nThere is limited underground parking which is $20 and in all honesty is a nightmare as there are only steps quite a lot up to reception. If arriving by car there is temporary parking in the front loading area/ driveway. I would recommend taking anything you want to take up to your room with you to check in and then coming back down to park the car. Trust me, you will be pleased you did!nI would definitely stay again, but not with my car.nAlso, there is no pool only spa baths/ plunge pools on a deck but this didn't worry me as I was not interested in this.
