My family and I recently stayed here for 6 days 5 nights. We paid approximately $1600.nThe location was perfect, very central to absolutely everything. The view from our room amazing! The hotel is child friendly and pretty big rooms/units. My son loved the pool, however it was always busy so be prepared for that.nnThe staff member at the little cafe thingy downstairs was very nice.nnThe lifts were a little annoying, only two were working and in such a big hotel, we were waiting for the lift for a very long time on occasions which got tiring after a while.nnThe reason for the lower star rating was because they gave us only 1 roll of toilet paper for 5 people for 6 days which meant we had to buy toilet paper. The shower gel they had in the room lasted us only a couple of days then we had to buy more. They gave us only a couple of bin bags which wasn’t enough either.nnThere were cockroaches we saw throughout the room and on the balcony every morning which was kind of gross. The bathrooms were a little mouldy, in the showers mostly. They don’t do room cleaning so we had to clean the place ourselves also.nnThe gym at the hotel was basic and not really beneficial, we ended up paying to access world gym which is close by.
Understandably the Mantra is renovating its towers as it’s very much needed, due to the out-dated style. However, the cleanliness was not up to scratch with bathroom bins broken, tv remote missing its back, kitchen utensils weren’t clean and limited 1x teaspoon, Austar TV wasn’t working and ex-guest hair throughout the apartment. Car parking isn’t suited to us over the height limit and had to pay for parking a block over. We weren’t allowed to park in the guest parking with a notice stating we were paying guest and no options to park at front - Its ONLY paid parking surrounding the hotel towers.
We recently stayed at Chevron Renaissance in a two-unit apartment, and it was perfect for our family. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Our children absolutely loved the Lagoon Pool! It was definitely the highlight of our stay, with plenty of room for them to splash around and enjoy the water. The pool area itself was beautiful, and it made for a very enjoyable and relaxing experience for the whole family.nnThe hotel was in a great location, and the service was fantastic. The apartment setup gave us the space and convenience we needed, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We highly recommend Chevron Renaissance for anyone visiting with kids—it’s the perfect spot for a fun, family-friendly getaway! We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
We stayed six nights in an ocean view room. I was impressed with our view of both the ocean and the city scape.nThe hotel location was fantastic. It was a short walk to Cavill Avenue and the beach.nThe added bonus was the shopping centre underneath, which meant we didn’t have to leave to get groceries.nThe kids loved the lagoon pool.
We recently spent 6 nights at Towers Of Chevron in a 2 bedroom apartment, and were very impressed by the huge room and great location. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The only annoyance was that with only 2 of the 4 lifts working, sometimes it took a while to catch a lift. Kids loved the lagoon pool. Would happily stay here again.
