We were in the residences for 3 nights 4 days and it was not worth my money.nThe view was beautiful, but our room had physical damage including and not limited to busted in wall from door handle, scuff marks in black, blue, red and pink all over the walls.nThe windows also had obviously not been cleaned exteriorly in a very long time which is disgusting.nThe beds were worse than a cheaper hotel we stayed at previously. We went to the sauna and there were cockroaches in there. I also had a cockroach fall on me when entering the lobby. One bathroom was more dated than the other, and it also had a melted hair dryer in it which is not helpful for drying hair.nnPositives are the staff were very friendly, and helpful for suggestions around town. We also had issues with the elevators breaking down but we had manual assistance as we were due for the airport.nThe deck was really nice and you could open the king bedroom window.nnI didn't mention the room issues to staff because being so high up, and at that price, if that was their standard for guests then there is no point in getting another room at the same standard. Lastly, the bathrooms have slants that dip down when exiting and they are unmarked so it is a severe safety hazard especially for someone like me who is disabled. I tripped as soon as I got there.nnI'm not sure I'd stay at a Hilton in Australia again because of this experience. It's definitely not the same experience as Hilton hotels in America
This was our second stay at Hilton Surfers Paradise, and once again everything was perfect. This time my family and I stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment with beautiful views, very comfortable beds, and everything we needed for a relaxing stay.nWe really appreciated the early check-in, and the buffet breakfast was amazing — a great variety of food and everything was very fresh.n A very special thank you to the staff who organised a birthday surprise for my mum. She said it was the best birthday surprise ever, and we truly were not expecting it. It made our stay even more memorable.nThe reception staff were all super friendly and welcoming. Easy communication over the app too.nWe will definitely be coming back again!
Hilton Surfers Paradise – Excellent Location with Some InconsistenciesnnHilton Surfers Paradise Hotel & Residences is exceptionally well located — quite literally within arm’s reach of everything that makes Surfers Paradise popular.nnCavill Avenue, the beach, restaurants, bars, clubs, shopping, and the light rail are all just moments away, making it an ideal base for those wanting convenience and easy access to the heart of the Gold Coast.nnCheck-in was smooth and welcoming, and the lobby creates a pleasant first impression. While it doesn’t deliver the grand ambience you often associate with traditional five-star hotels, it feels modern, comfortable, and well suited to the location.nnThe room itself was very good — modern, comfortable, and enjoyable to stay in. However, the corridors leading to the rooms feel dated and would benefit from refurbishment, as they contrast noticeably with the rooms themselves.nnI specifically booked this hotel for access to the Executive Lounge, paying approximately AUD $50 extra per night. Unfortunately, this was the most underwhelming aspect of the stay.nnRather than feeling like a refined executive lounge, the space felt more like a functional cafeteria. During our visit, a tradesman carrying out work on the property appeared to be using the lounge as an office, which diminished the premium feel considerably. While there was a good selection of tea, coffee, and soft drinks available throughout the day, the offering lacked some of the small touches you would normally expect — even a selection of savoury snacks or biscuits would have elevated the experience.nnThe afternoon tea service with cakes at 2pm and cocktails at 5pm was enjoyable and probably the highlight of the lounge offering. That said, the overall atmosphere felt quieter and more retirement-oriented than executive or business-focused.nnBreakfast was good overall, though travellers familiar with luxury hotels across Asia, India, or Sri Lanka should calibrate expectations accordingly. It is more aligned with a solid four-star international breakfast rather than the expansive and highly polished buffet experiences often found in leading Asian five-star hotels.nnOverall, I enjoyed the stay and would happily return due to the location, comfort, and convenience. However, I personally would not pay extra for Executive Lounge access again.nnA very well-located and comfortable stay best suited to travellers prioritising convenience and modern accommodation, while those expecting a truly premium executive lounge experience may find it falls short of expectations.
Our family mostly relaxed and enjoyed our stay at the hotel during the trip. The location was excellent and very convenient.nEspecially, the cocktails made by Josh were amazing, and Christie was incredibly kind and responded quickly to everything we needed. It was so nice to meet another Korean person in Aus. We needed her help a lot. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable Christie
Fantastic stay at Hilton Surfers Paradise. The room was spacious, clean, and offered amazing views. The location is perfect, within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The staff were friendly and professional, making the stay even more enjoyable. Great facilities, comfortable beds, and an overall excellent experience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Gold Coast.
