Craythorne's Public House

Went for brunch with family for a quiet birthday, excellent service and yummy food. It was our 3rd time there so we knew it would be good. The personal approach was much appreciated and we will definitely come back. Only minus is the dining area is quite dark when you come in out from the sun. :

Came in for dinner with the wife and kids after softball practice. Food was really good and the beer was cold! I love what they have done with the place. You have to try the brisket balls, really nice with the grated Parmesan! Good job team! We shall return need to add… service was top notch and super attentive … thank you!

I recently visited The Haswell with friends for an evening out. We were very disappointed with the customer service we received from the duty manager - Becca I think her name was, . From the moment we arrived, she was rude, never smiled, and came across as completely unfriendly and almost intimidating. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather they paying customers.nnHospitality is about creating a welcoming atmosphere and that was completely lacking.nnI hope management takes this feedback seriously, as good customer service is essential to a positive experience. Sadly, this visit did not meet our expectations and we most likely won’t be back.

We celebrated a birthday with a meal on Christmas eve and it was a great experience. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was fantastic and a special shout-out to Chloe who looked after us for the night. She was so efficient and friendly and made the occasion a great success.

We had the most amazing time here and didn’t want to leave!nPerfect location just a bus ride into the city which leaves from outside.nnThe room was perfect exactly what we needed and the bed was so comfortable.nnThe food in the restaurant/bar was amazing and extra points for the good Guiness which my partner said was the best one he’s had in New Zealand!!nnTop class service and hospitality, shoutout to the manager who really engaged with us throughout our trip and who was always up for a chat, he took care of everything we needed throughout our trip and made us feel so welcome.nnWould definitely recommend staying here to everyone traveling to Christchurch and would love to return again.
