The Oaks is very nice. The room is good and spacious, clean. There are a few minor maintenance issues which I reported to the management and which are being repaired - they were already aware of one and parts are on order - so the management and staff do keep up with the room. All of the components of the room were clean, and overall I'm quite happy with this establishment.

Location was perfect, close to bars and restaurants, and also the Arts Centre. Beds super comfy and great shower pressure. Staff helpful and friendly. Kitchenette was well equipped, but crockery on top shelf made things difficult. View from 29th floor was amazing.

Great location with access to most of central Melbourne. Lovely new hotel with great rooms overlooking most of the city. 24 hour desk, and car parking is available for a fee.

3 stars at best. Excellent location however furnishing are cheap and uncomfortable, rooms are small and two elevators (one of which appears to consistently break down) for 37 floors means you are forever waiting to enter or exit the building. Parking is $30 a day and internet is not included in room charges.
