Sleepless and Terrible . Building has undergone a half ass renovation. Bathrooms are brutal .the best part is they don't tell you that there is a nightclub pretty much attached to the hotel .I hope you don't plan on sleeping because the single pain windows let every pin drop and bass line through. Also the walls are paper thin .just a note if you like the entertainment of your neighbours conversations. Absolutely rubbish!!

Fantastic central location. So many food and shopping options close by. The bathroom I had was a little shabby and the mattress felt lived in. Other than that a good choice.

Location: Fantastic. We went for the tennis and it was a 15 min walk which was fantastic. The experience: Although the room itself was good internally, that's the only other positive about our overall experience. I booked the room 4.5 months in advance. We were given room 103 on level 1. I could count the total number of hours we were able to sleep over the 3 nights we stayed there. The room overlooked Degraves Street which is full of restaurants and bars. The windows are incredibly old, disgustingly filthy with absolutely no noise proofing at all. We had really really loud music directly below us which turned off at 11:30pm. I actually could have lived with that on it's own, but then throughout the night were garbage trucks dumping hundreds of glass bottles, drunk/angry people shouting obsenities at all hours and fights in the street. This happened every single night and did not let up at all. Unfortunately, since the tennis was on, there was absolutely nothing we could do because everything was booked out. This is a cautionary tale for anyone planning to stay there. I can't speak for any of the other rooms at the hotel but do yourselves a favour and DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 103!!!

Nice staff, great location, large rooms nicely set-up. I regret the mattress, so worn-out I had to avoid falling into the dip (lucky me I was alone in a double bed). I also regret the old timber window single glazed, letting the noise from the steet come inside my room.
