If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... The high tea is a very unique experience. Went during the weekend high tea which had a amazing dessert buffet! I would definitely recommend going in the weekend. Be sure to try the tea!

Stayed in The Hotel Windsor for a total of 6 nights. The check in and check out was smooth and the staff were helpful with our enquires. The whole hotel is of a Victorian theme and great for photos. The room is quite a cozy size, but for the queen bed, it seems a bit smaller than the usual size. The housekeeping was good. If pillow quality matters to you, they have a pillow menu to choose from. At the concierge, the staff were really friendly and greeted us most of the time. They also provided great assistance to us when we rented a car through the hotel. It’s just a pity we did not try their high tea!

Got off the 86 tram and it was easily spotted. Had high tea for two and the selection of tea was beautiful. Scones are the fluffy ones, though I normally prefer dense scones this one was quite nice. Toilets are down the hall, may be a little harder if you have walking aids or a wheelchair. Overall atmosphere was pleasant, waitresses/ers polite and informative.

Not worth the rate they charge. It is tired. Lot of print about establishing in 1883 but there is no follow through in the experience while there. Consider a visit for high tea or the cricket bar, not to stay. Surprised it is 5 star. There are plenty of cheaper nicer hotels with rooms much nicer. Just not worth the money. Staff try, but seem a step behind. I would make the lobby buzz with 1883 period feel and people. Leave a newspaper each evening about activities and include a little 1883 history. Personalise it for each guest by capturing data at check in...so much you can do. Come on guys.

Well what can I say ..... amazing! Just does not describe the weekend we just had at the Windsor Hotel .... I stayed for 2 nights and attended a wedding in the Grand Ball Room Saturday night !!!! Cara and all the team from the bell staff to room service were amazing. The Ball Room was stunning for the wedding. What an experience! Please don’t pull it down !!!
