Walking into the Langham you feel you've been transported into a different time. The marble staircases, central fountain and high ceilings is visually beautiful. We went to the Langham for a special event high tea at Melba which was the Mario Nintendo themed high tea. Though the service and the setting was lovely, the actual quality of the cakes were only ok. It would have been nice if more of the menu visually matched the theme as only 2 items were themed, and the rest were average cup cakes. I would like to come back to try the Wedgwood high tea as there were customers in an opposing table who ordered that set which looked really nice.

Great service, comfortable rooms and exceptional attention to detail from house keeping staff. I used the spa and pool facilities and they were clean and well equipped. The only two things i would add are dental floss in the dental kit and hair straightener in the spa powder room facilities. But that's really just a little suggestion for improvment, everything was really fantastic.

The Langham is an iconic jewel in Melbourne's hotel and hospitality industry. Guests are met with an opulent setting which is equalled with 5 star service. Staff do everything to ensure that guests are happy and that their stay is memorable. I attended for a high tea and was absolutely delighted with the quality of the tea, the table settings and the food. I strongly recommend this venue to anyone who is seeking a special experience.

Thought I would spoil myself . The staff have been very helpful on arrival. Very hospitable with reception being nice in reading the fine print. Police like I am with family. Views tremendously spectacular.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... Great service, comfortable rooms and exceptional attention to detail from house keeping staff. I used the spa and pool facilities and they were clean and well equipped.
