I combined work and holiday with my family and this hotel deserves 6 stars. No wonder it’s got 2024 best hotel award in Melbourne. The moment I called I was greeted immediately with warmth and care. They did not only provide free single king bed in a room but also had a birthday cup cake for my family. Their service is the top notch. The room is big and bed is comfy. I love their customer service and will definitely stay here when I’m back to visit. Thank you Langham Melbourne
I stayed one night in the Executive River Corner King 1902. The room felt somewhat dated, with worn furniture, stained curtains, and bathtub grout in need of resealing. The air conditioner made strange noises throughout the night, and the electrical socket beside the bed was frustratingly difficult to access.nnHowever, the service was truly outstanding at every point of my stay. From the check-in staff to the club lounge team, guest services, the friendly cleaners, the spa staff, the doormen and doorwomen, and the team at Melba’s - everyone went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. Even the florists were an absolute delight to interact with.nnThe club lounge was a particular highlight, with wonderful staff, lovely views, good coffee, delicious little bites, cocktails, and generous bottles of sparkling water. I also loved the buffet breakfast included with the stay the make-your-own juice bar was a delightful touch. The young gentleman who handled my complimentary clothes pressing and shoe polishing was especially lovely. I was also kindly offered a late checkout, which I greatly appreciated and used to enjoy my final moments in the club lounge.nnThe only minor negative was a phone interaction with guest services around 3:25 pm, when a curt staff member left me on hold while speaking to a colleague about her upcoming shift change. While very minor, it stood out in contrast to everyone else’s impeccable service.nnOverall, despite the room’s dated condition, the bed was very comfortable, and the outstanding hospitality made for a truly wonderful stay. The location was perfect for my needs. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful 3-nights stay at The Langham Melbourne. A special thank you to Lia at the front desk, who made us feel truly welcomed from the moment we arrived. She arranged a lovely room upgrade for our wedding anniversary, which made the trip even more special.nnThe river view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. We also really enjoyed the heated pool and jacuzzi. It was relaxing and came with great views of the city.nnBreakfast was decent with plenty of options, and room service was just as satisfying. Throughout the stay, the staff were very friendly and attentive.nnHighly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Melbourne.
Hotel has 90s luxury feel. So while it is dated, it offers grandeur that even some modern 5stars dont.nFood was great, room was perfect for us. Club lounge was fantastic and underpinning all this was faultless service by their staff!
Had heard it was very good. Unfortunately our room was ready late. And when we got to our room there was a used face washer in the shower. Buffet was nice and plenty to choose from. Don’t think I’d stay again.
