just had to leave a review to commend Nanny, the lady at the front desk. Her customer liaison skills are absolutely fabulous! From the moment we walked in, she welcomed us with genuine warmth and professionalism that instantly set a wonderful tone for our entire visit.n​Nanny went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after, handling everything seamlessly and with a smile. It is so rare to find that level of dedicated, high-quality customer service these days. She is an absolute asset to the front desk team, and we are so grateful for her hospitality!n​
Room 1892. Very clean and comfortable. I liked the window seat, and the view was good, city skyline & casino. The soaps had a pleasant fragrance. The beds, two in this room, are quite firm and the pillows were fine. The doona was too thick for me, so despite turning down the air-conditioning, I was too warm.nnOddly, there was no convenient power point into which I could plug my mobile phone charger. The dock on the bedside table is for an A fitting. All my cords are C to C now, so bring an A to C, or drag away the bedside table, unplug the alarm clock, and bending behind the table, plug in your charger. Make sure you have a long cord.nnAlso, the half flush button needs jiggling to stop the cistern running.nnThe staff at the Promenade were lovely. Friendly and warm, especially the woman who took my room number every morning in the breakfast room. So sweet. Breakfast was passable, but definitely not the best buffet I've had. All the juices tasted of plastic, and the available fruit was the usual barely or under ripe melons & pineapple. The smoothies tasted peculiar. However the chia pudding pots were delicious.nnI gave the location four stars because it was very convenient for the convention centre. The streetscape is not good, but you're very close to the Yarra, and so only a short walk will find you strolling along the river.nnOne last thing: I really liked the pool! Very attractive, warm, and even warmer in the spa.nnThe Promenade isn't perfect carpets throughout are a bit tired and worn, but it's pretty good.
My almost 5 year old son and I had a staycation at Crowne Promenade for the night, and it was absolutely perfect. We purchased a package that included a $50 Kingpin voucher, bottle of sparkling, valet parking and a $30 cafe voucher. We also paid a little extra to ensure we had a room on level 16 or above. We had the most amazing view! All staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool had a great view of the city as well. I can't wait to return for another city staycation soon.
Very comfy and clean rooms. Only thing l would say is the room heating needs to be able to turn off especially for sleeping. Love this place and location perfect!
Many place profess to be 5 star then just fail miserably but these guys don’t talk up a big game they just get it right every time. I usually stay at the Metropol but thought I’d give Promenade a go and it didn’t disappoint.nCloser walking distance to all the attractions with sky foot bridges to make it easier.nThe pool is no where as busy but the hotel does have half the rooms of Metropol.nEvery where is clean, rooms are a good size and not cluttered with marketing materials, staff are attentive on all interactions from the doorman to the pool lifeguards. Check in and out is a breeze all on line. Good priced parking is close.nI was so impressed that I’ve rebooked to stay again in 2 weeks time to accommodate interstate family. Best convenience feature there’s a little cafe nook behind check in that’s makes great coffees and snacks at street not hotel prices.
