First time at Crown Towers in MelbournennLocation - In the heart of Melbourne city. Fantastic location accessible to various restaurants and barsnnParking - Still a little confused on whether they do offer free parking as one staff member did say they do offer 1 day for free and the other staff member, on a different day said that they don’t offer free parking at all. Worth rechecking this information! Apart from that the Multi level car park is a lot cheaper but be mindful that there is a 10 min walk from the lobby to the car park and you need to walk through the food court and restaurants to get there.nnRoom - lovely, very specious room ! We were lucky to have a great view of the city. We stayed for two nights. Very clean and up to date rooms with essential ammenitiesnnStaff - very lovely to speak to, approachable and professional. Checking and checkout was a smooth experience.nnPrice - Friday cheap, Saturday expensivennWould recommend for a winter stay. They have a very specious pool and a huge gym ! Clean & updated. Lifeguards by the pool and decent openings hours of the pools and gym. Had a wonderful weekend. Will be back !
The hotel is fabulous, clean and comfortable. The check in process is horrendous. Three of the four ladies who were checking clients in to the hotel were obviously told to chat with the children of the people whom they were checking in. This may be lovely when it is not busy, however when the line waiting was twenty plus people this is not appropriate for good customer relations.nThank goodness Sandy had the good sense to be polite but efficient in her process of checking in which was very appreciated by all who were in the line.nThank you Sandy.
We had a good experience when checking in ,the front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a really lovely view.nnDespite hearing from friends and family not to worry about booking breakfast at the Conservatory, I wanted to try it for myself. Everything was going smoothly until I walked out holding a drink and a muffin in my hand. That’s when a staff member named Yao began yelling at me, saying I wasn’t allowed to take anything outside not even a muffin or a drink. and even questioned what I have food in a bag. I was shocked. It was just a tissue with a muffin, not a bag full of food. Her comments made me feel as if I was being accused of trying to smuggle food because I didn’t have any at home ,which was deeply insulting. I literally gave them to threw away the food. As it made me really sick the way they treated I literally lost my appetite having anything at all.nnI have a medical condition that sometimes prevents me from eating immediately, and we were just about to check out. I had already asked a staff member if I could take the drink with me, and they said it was fine. I also saw several other guests walking out with bottles. But for some reason, I was singled out and embarrassed in front of others.nnThe manager then came out and reiterated that I wasn’t allowed to take anything, but what was more humiliating was that they replaced my drink with a takeaway cup in front of everyone something they didn’t do for anyone else. Few people literally walked out in front of us holding drinks. One guest even approached me and offered to let me take a photo of him carrying his drinks, saying he had been told it was okay to do so.nnThis experience was not only upsetting but felt discriminatory. I can’t help but feel that I was treated differently because of how I look. No other guests were questioned ! only my Family. This goes against the multicultural values Australia stands for. Racism, in any form, is unacceptable.nnHotel policies should be fair and applied equally to all guests, whether they’re staying one night or ten. I’ve stayed in many hotels across Melbourne and never experienced something this embarrassing or discriminatory. While I’d still recommend the hotel for its beauty, I strongly advise avoiding the Conservatory.nnStaff holding management titles should remember that their role doesn’t give them the right to treat guests without respect or dignity.
Unforgettable Stay – Stunning Views, Seamless Service & Fantastic Food nnI recently stayed at Crown tower and had an incredible experience from start to finish. The views alone are worth the visit.nnThe service was warm, attentive, and professional throughout. From check-in to checkout, the staff made sure every detail was taken care of with a smile, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.nnThe location couldn’t be more convenient — close to everything we needed, yet still peaceful and private enough to feel like a true escape.nnA wonderful stay overall. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a mix of comfort, convenience, and a little luxury with a view. Will definitely be returning!
Our stay at Crown Towers started off well, but that quickly changed when we checked into our room. As soon as we entered the bathroom, we were greeted by a large ball of hair in the shower—an unexpected sight for a supposedly 5-star hotel. It was clear that housekeeping had rushed through the job, doing little more than making the beds and restocking essentials without proper cleaning. When we raised the issue, we were offered a room change or a housekeeping visit. We chose the latter, but after 30 minutes of waiting, no one showed up, and we had to leave. It felt like these oversights were just “business as usual.” Fortunately, the bathroom was cleaned by the time we returned.nnThe service issues didn’t stop there. Our luggage, which we had dropped off at the bell desk six hours earlier, was still not in our room upon arrival as promised. While not a big deal, it added to the growing impression that guest experience was not a priority. The room’s tablet system also had errors—our welcome message was addressed to a different guest, and some service options, including spa bookings, resulted in error messages.nnDespite the hotel’s great location, good amenities, and comfortable rooms, the attention to detail and service quality fell far short of expectations. I’ve had cleaner rooms and better hospitality at 3-star hotels. Crown Towers may look the part of a luxury hotel, but the experience left much to be desired.
