Flinders Station Hotel Backpackers is located in the heart of the CBD of Melbourne. Staying with us will have you living amongst Melbourne’s funky café and shopping district while only been a few minutes walk away from Flinders Station, South Bank, and Federation Square.

It’s the perfect location for every traveller!

We offer great value accommodation rates with 2, 3 and 4 bed dormitory rooms, Twin and Doubles rooms all with shared bathroom facilities. Free breakfast is included every morning.

All guests have 24-hour access to the hostel and there are no curfews.

Our rooms: Every dorm room has individual security lockers, fan, secure card entry, linen, pillows and blankets provided. Towels are also available for hire.

Our property: is complete with a TV room, Free pool table, Free ping pong table, large common area and fully equipped kitchen with walk-in cool room. We also have an Internet kiosk with wireless Internet, mail, faxing and printing services as well as washing, drying and ironing facilities.

All guests must be over the age of 18yrs.

Tuesday Night – Pool Competition – Prizes and Free Shots
Wednesday Night – Movie Night with free popcorn
Thursday Night – Free Pasta or Soup Night

Without a doubt, this backpackers has the best atmosphere of any backpackers in Melbourne. There's a real international community spirit in the reception/kitchen area and the communal cooking and dining makes it a pleasure to hang around whilst being a guest. The room, whilst not fitted with bedside lamps and power outlets, were still of above average quality and comfort. The two wall mounted fans helped ease off the heat from the day.

Flinders Backpackers is a great place to stay right slap bang in the middle of Melbourne. Rooms are always full at this place so make sure to book in advance to make sure you get a bed! The price is good for the facilities that they offer such as, location, good room size, great movie room and film selection and breakfast including pancakes! They'll even give you a credit note if you need to check out early so you don't lose any of your nights booked!

I stayed in a private room with my son and it was fine. We had everything we needed. Good price, clean, breakfast included and ver good costumer service.

We stayed 5 years ago and it was very good. After 5 years they become even better. Have to mention that all the staff is not so friendly be aware but most of them are. They have a lot of activities.

Clean. Staff are friendly. Nothing is bad, but nothing stands out as great. Only stayed for three days but overall it was satisfying. Looks to be a social hostel but didn't stay long enough to experience that. Good free breakfast in the mornings and every Thursday has free dinner, which also looked good.
