Story

A beautifull heritage style building...Built in 1854 and with many restorations, but without ever losing its original atmosphere.

Boasting two levels of bars, each with its own charms and wide range of local and imported beers.

Ornate pressed metal ceilings and stained glass windows adorn the main public bar giving patrons a taste of old world feel of pub life in the past. While the upstairs Wintergarden Room is an elegantly designed lounge bar in a total contrast.

Been here a few times for comedy during the festival. Busy and bustling. A safe local for many people.

Exford is a pretty standard pub, with a very convenient location - right in the middle of Chinatown. Jukebox, pool table, sports on the big screen. Free comedy during the international comedy festival which is a bonus.

Not great, but not shite either. Be aware that the hostel is situated right next to China town, so the place can get a little hectic/loud at times. Does what it says on the tin! Good for a couple of nights.

Great comedy venue on little Bourke Street and Russell St. It's a bar/hostel. I like going in here. Ya never know who you will bump into when the comedy festival is on.
