This was a great place to stay for a little staycation. I did call a few times to try and get an early check-in which I was told each time it’s more of a show up and try your luck type of situation not their actual words. I understand early check-ins can’t always be honoured. But when I did arrive early I found that if I wanted to check in at that time, there was a $30 fee for it. It would have been nice to have been given the heads up of this on any of the occasions that I called to ask about it.nnIn any case, we booked a twin room and it was small. The bathroom - narrow. No view. But, honestly it did the job. The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows. The bathroom mirror was well lit for makeup purposes. The check in process was very streamlined and you can use a kiosk to get your room keys too. Well worth the price I paid and I do think I’ll be back again.
We booked three nights here through Booking.com and got a great price. We loved the central location, and the generous size of the room and king bed. The tiles in the bathroom were very beautiful and classic. I subtracted one star for service because I had to ask two days in a row to get a third towel in my room perhaps it was dropped off but then removed by the cleaners on the first day?. Our room was well cleaned both days. The room had a heater/air-conditioner, so we were always comfortable. I enjoyed having a large desk to set out my new purchases. There was a good range of pillows, but I think there should also be a spare blanket in the cupboard. The fridge kept our water bottles cold. We didn’t use the kettle or provided tea. The shower soap, shampoo and conditioner smelt nice. I initially didn’t like the idea of the check in portal I like talking to an actual person, but it was smooth and quick, and we got our two key cards without a problem. There was always someone on the desk to answer any questions we had. They were able to store our luggage on our final day after we checked out. We will certainly stay here again on our next Melbourne visit.
We booked directly online, and we were presented with online check-in. Since I was about to board my flight, I quickly checked in, as I wanted to get my room before the normal 3pm time. Luckily, the room was ready ahead of time. I had travelled for almost 17 hours, so it was great to settle in. However, during that check in process, I had to pay with credit card, which I did. But my friend also paid in person, so make sure the front desk doesn't double charge you before you check it. We got it resolved after talking to them in person to rectify it, but they took a long time to send us our receipt, several days after check out.nnGreat location in CBD, near shops, metro, trams.nnIt's an older hotel, but still nice and clean. Very nice lobby with chandelier. We had room 737 on the top floor, it was spacious, with 2 queen beds. Spacious bathroom too, with large counter for your toiletries, and bottom shelf for clothes. The hotel is very secure with key card required for the elevator.nAmenities include a very small pool for kids, gym, and dry sauna.nThere are 2 washers and 2 dryers, self serve laundry is $4 /wash, $4/ dry, on the first floor. They are large machines. 1 washer seemed kind of moldy, probably because users didn't leave the door open to dry out. Self dispenses detergent, but I couldn't see any foamnnI would stay here again, because of the location, cleanliness, walkability, and value.
Excellent customer service, very helpful. Beautiful foyer entry. Rooms were small but good for a night or 2. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Probably a little pricey for the basic layout, design and amenities.nBuffet breakfast was fantastic! Lots of food options, nice coffee and restaurant.
Indiana front desk absolutely amazing service got in well before check in time at 12 pm paid $30 early check in and I got to my zoom work meeting in my room rather then sitting in the lobby. Amazing could not fault arrival experience. Room very spacious received a complimentary upgrade which I was not expecting first time staying. Room superb exactly what I needed and in the heart of the city so close to everything for $120 with breakfast buffet included I cannot complain. Dinner in Vic’s bar amazing great Chris very knowledgeable mentioned no steak sandwich tonight sold out however however club sandwich was brilliant hit the spot and buffet breakfast wow so many options honestly couldn’t get enough absolutely yum
