We booked three nights here through Booking.com and got a great price. We loved the central location, and the generous size of the room and king bed. The tiles in the bathroom were very beautiful and classic. I subtracted one star for service because I had to ask two days in a row to get a third towel in my room perhaps it was dropped off but then removed by the cleaners on the first day?. Our room was well cleaned both days. The room had a heater/air-conditioner, so we were always comfortable. I enjoyed having a large desk to set out my new purchases. There was a good range of pillows, but I think there should also be a spare blanket in the cupboard. The fridge kept our water bottles cold. We didn’t use the kettle or provided tea. The shower soap, shampoo and conditioner smelt nice. I initially didn’t like the idea of the check in portal I like talking to an actual person, but it was smooth and quick, and we got our two key cards without a problem. There was always someone on the desk to answer any questions we had. They were able to store our luggage on our final day after we checked out. We will certainly stay here again on our next Melbourne visit.
room was great, not top in luxury but roomy, clean and had everything we needed and then some.nStaff were lovely, welcoming and helpful. We arrived early, checked our luggage in and went to an event. Same when we checked out, left our luggage until we were leaving the city.nLocation is spot on, so close to everything and what you're not close to the tram is right there.nAwesome place.
We had a lovely stay at The Victoria Hotel. The location was absolutely perfect and made getting around so easy. The room itself was comfortable and well suited for a 1 night stay.nA special mention to Cristian from the staff, who was truly outstanding. He was incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay feel easy and homey. His service really made a lasting impression, we would happily return just to see him again!
Absolutely spectacular, the rooms were clean, very nice tv, the beds were made well and super comfy. The facilities were good and simple with a clean toilet, nice shower and good sink with space. Good desktop area and a good size fridge with a safe and a good wardrobe. Absolutely loved staying here, we got the twin share. Definitely recommend for good price and excellent quality.
Decent sized basic no frills adequate room. Appeared clean. Good sized, fairly clean long hair stuck to the wall still and a good shower.nFairly quiet.nStaff were friendly and helpful both at reception and in the bar.nCentral location was great.
