Fantastic central location. Decent room. Bit expensive for the basic presentation of the hotel. Fine for a work trip. Max 2 nights. In need of a Reno. Had to ask for the room to be cleaned as it was missed, and it felt was like i was lying. They cleaned it and only half did the job. It was fine, but after spending $950 I think The Victoria needs to do a lot better, especially in this economy .
Friendly, efficient and welcoming reception staff. Great location! And great value for money. Room was very clean, beds were comfy. Basic room amenities but appreciated having tea making facilities on a late night return. Dont really need more as there are so many cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. Finished with a relaxing float in the swimming pool which, whilst not large, was perfect for purpose.nWill definitely stay here again.
The Victoria Hotel sounds like a historic hotel just by its name, yet it still offers many modern conveniences. Upon entering the lobby, you’ll see several self-service check-in and check-out machines, which are very convenient.nnThe room was clean and bright—something I really care. The space was also quite large, with a desk and chair for working, as well as a single sofa. The housekeeping was excellent. We brought three dolls for our child, and when we returned to the room in the evening, all three dolls had been neatly arranged on the bed. It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture.nnThe only downside was that guests staying on the 8th floor have to change elevators twice to reach their rooms. Not being able to go directly to the room floor was quite inconvenient. By the way, the single sofa cushion has lost its shape and may need replacement.
The location is really good, very close to tram stop in swanston. Right at the other side of townhall building. Very easy to find. The service is good, especially if you don’t have to wait long to check in or check out, they have this self check in and easy check out, after you just need to return the card key. The hotel has swimming pool, gym and sauna. Big classic hotel, very interesting.
Wonderful hotel with exceptional service. Every staff member was kind, polite, and helpful. My room was clean, stylish, and had a very comfortable bed. The food at the restaurant was delicious and beautifully served. I enjoyed the pool area and the calm atmosphere. Everything was organized and well maintained. The location was also great — close to shops and public transport. I will definitely return for my next trip!
