The hotel located in a great location. Walking distance everywhere, we didn't use the public transportation one while we stay at Grand Hyatt. The room was good with nice city view. Good and services were OK. The lounge club offers a beautiful view of the city but the food presentation wasn't impressed me.
A five-star experience through and through! The staff were helpful and kind, the facilities clean and modern. My room was beautiful with great amenities and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and the restaurant service was excellent. The pool area was lovely and peaceful. I also appreciated how quick and smooth the check-in and check-out process was. I felt pampered and cared for during my entire stay!
Had our yearly visit to the Grand Hyatt Hotel with friends and as usual we had a fab time. The hotel is amazing, our river view room was clean and very comfortable. Located centrally in Melbourne, you have access to all the theatres and restaurants, all within walking distance or just catch a free tram. The Lobby Lounge is so good that you may decide not to go out at all and the Re-Co bar for that late night drink is also a must. Totally recommended for everyone.
I will start by saying I do appreciate a reasonably quick response to my email from the manager about my stay on the 02.01.2025 at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne, apart from that I unfortunately don't appreciate much else about this hotel and I am not in a hurry to stay again.nnI had booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and checked out after the first night and transferred to another hotel.nnWe arrived at 7pm on the friday evening checked in no real information explained to us about the hotel at all or where to find things.nWe went to our room and then headed out for an hour for some dinner, when we arrived back approximately 8:45 pm we headed to the pool for a swim and spa... nope it was closed and apparently closed at 8pm... for a 5star hotel not good enough.. I spoke to reception and was told all hotels close their pool area at 8pm they absolutely do notnAdded to this the robe supplied had a stain on an apparent clean robe that looked that ratty old and threads pulled, the glass wear was dirty in mine and my sister's room, stain above the bed, and a terrible smell out of the drain... overall what should have been a restful weekend has not been at all.nnI do not feel this hotel is worth the money I paid for what I was charged for even 1 night.nAt best it is a 4 star hotel.
I want to pass on my compliments to the wonderful team at Grand Hyatt Melbourne!nMy few days as your guest were fantastic. I want to highlight the professionalism of Mark, who prepared the room for me, and thanks for the good work of housekeeper Harsh, who perfectly fulfilled all my requests. Great job, guys. Keep it up!nYour attention to detail gives this business a sense of true hospitality.
