The River View room itself, 4 stars. Gorgeous view. Lost a star because casting YouTube to the TV is seemingly broken; it never succeeded. But Spotify cast to it just fine. Service: 5 stars, as the staff are all super lovely and we received a beautiful package with easily the most detailed and best buffet breakfast available in all of Melbourne. Plus the VIP GH Clublounge on level 31, also part of our package, was incredible. The stunning view of Melbourne, the complimentary coffees and drinks incl spirits too and even some spritz' and basic cocktails! and the deliciously decadent complimentary food, from cheese platters to roast pork bao buns, it was all top notch. Best Wedding Anniversary we couldve asked for.
The Grand Hyatt is better than the Melbourne Park Hyatt in nearly every way.nnThe rooms are aging, though are spacious and very comfortable.nnWe enjoyed the restaurant and cocktails from the bar, a very pleasant setting.nnMy only gripe: pre-made espresso martini’s and fresh espresso martini’s made with pod coffee - a poor reflection on Melbourne’s world renowned coffee.
Have stayed here a couple of time and always appreciate the friendly and attentive services! Great rooms, good location to be central to everything in the cbd and nearby to many amazing restaurants. Highly recommend for weekend getaways
The staff was fantastic — genuinely welcoming and attentive. The lounge food was delicious, with wonderful views to match. The location made it easy to get around and explore nearby attractions, and the gym was excellent. Everything felt smooth and well cared for. Would happily stay again.
Loved everything about this experience! The hotel is lovely, staff is so friendly and helpful and every detail is thought of. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had in the world. Room service was delicious and super quick. The hotel also offers complimentary access to a fully equipped gym next to it.
