5 stars. Outstanding. Stayed for 9 nights during the Australian Open. Fantastic location. Excellent customer service which included multiple changes in check in and check out dates. Room was clean, well finished and in great condition. Really nice room design and layout. Really comfortable climate control, excellent bedding & towels. Really appreciate the included bottled water & coffee. Highly recommended.
Attended a work conference here... the food was delicious...main focus of any conference!! probably the best conference food I've had in 10 years, and lots of different conference venues! Worked well for our conference... some break out rooms had thin walls and you could hear next room speakers but not all the time. So easy to get to.. I live 2 hours away and public transport was great. Tram stops literally at the door.
I had the pleasure of drinking at Hyatt today, and I was thoroughly impressed by the service. Our waiter, Mart, was absolutely wonderful—polite, attentive, and genuinely friendly. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel welcome and ensured that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. He gave thoughtful recommendations on the menu and checked in at just the right times, making sure everything was to our liking. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and cares about the customers. Thank you Mart for such an exceptional experience, —we’ll definitely be back!
We were staying for 3 nights at king room with river view and everything was just perfect. Staff were so nice, sauna and steam room always empty, everything is super clean, breakfast is insanely good. We loved everything even room service, all the food was such a good quality and exceeded our expectations. We had everything we needed and even more. Staff is attentive and very friendly. One thing though, TV wasn’t connecting to screen share, and when we called to reception for help, no one ended up coming. Still had a good time though and will definitely choose Hyatt for our next Melbourne trip. Lovely!
We loved our stay at this iconic hotel with a brilliant location. We loved our Grand Club access. Nina at the Grand Club provided us with exceptional service and an amazing experience. The other staff that we encountered provided us with average service. There is a lot of room for improvement in their overall staff communication skills especially with the price they are charging per room per night. Quite overpriced in my opinion. The rooms are a bit tired. The pillows were not very comfortable. The mattress of our bed was too soft and probably quite old. The gym and sauna and steamroom were amazing.
