I went there with my boyfriend with a day-pass, which included the use of the swimming pool, the gim, the sauna.. The view of the city from the jacuzzi was stunning, the spa fabulous, the all experience was really fulfilling! The entire staff was great, in particular Alex with her very good vibes and empathy, she knows her jobs! We'll go back asap!

Well...firstly, the facilities are awesome from what you can expect for a 5 star hotel. The jacuzzi with beautiful city view, the deck is a nice experience during summer. However I have to agree that it is difficult to get someone to pick up the phone although there is always someone there when I visit Chuan Spa. The staff are very friendly though. Now with the therapist, I also agree that they are not seriously trained to deliver the quality of massage that Chuan Spa could offer. I had only one favourite therapist (Casey) which resigned last year, she knows exactly where to hit the right spot from the first minute until end of the session. I tried other therapists after she left but couldn’t find someone comparable to her. Wish Chuan Spa would improve the quality of their therapist.

Very disappointed with the service, I had booked a weekend away with a package at the spa to only find out that the place was filled with elderly couples and bad service. One waiter by the pool who took 1 hour to bring my food(they forgot the order) and the facilities in which I had discussed over the phone were not mentioned to me to be seperated with male and female as I had booked a couples package. Whilst in our treatment the therapist dropped my partners phone and smashed the screen to bits. I mentioned this to the lady at the front desk and she advised her manager would contact me in the coming days . This was by far the worst spa I have been to . I am yet to receive a call back and I have tried calling all day to speak to the manager with no answer. I would not recommend this spa to anyone especially for the money you pay .

Overpriced massage. The hotel facilities were really good except the massage was terrible. I spoke the the lady who conducted the massage complaining that I had quite a lot of tension in my shoulders and to focus on that area. It felt like she did not know how to massage and could not find where any of my knots were and thus did not get rid of any knots in my shoulders and her response was one massage won't get rid of any tension. I wrote a complaint to the management and had no response. I've had lots of massages in the past and expected the staff at this hotel to be professionals but obviously these ones are not. Management obviously doesn't care if their staff are trained or not and will still charge you for a professional service.

I've enjoyed my time in the facilities (pool, jacuzzi, sauna etc). Nice, relaxing atmosphere
