Good value to stay. The hotel is interesting because not all of building belongs to hotel so that it is hard to find if you never been here before the hotel is from level 6. When you arrive first, you will think oh the hotel is so old! Looks like a 70-80's hallway but don't worry inside is exactly same as the pics that they posted on the website. There is laundry & dry all-in-one machine in bathroom. Please check hide door if you can't find like me
I would definitely not call it a 4 star hotel. Although our rooms were a good size, they were quite filthy. In the corners of the cabinets in the bathroom and the shower itself was pretty grimey. The reception was also pretty dirty. The doors to our rooms were also frosted glass so when someone was out in the living area no one else could sleep because the light would shine right through. The reception staff were very unhelpful with advice about tram services or directions. We were in a prime spot but for a 4 star hotel I would be expecting a much cleaner, comfortable stay.
I stayed here in a two bedroom unit in January 2020 Room 701 while recovering from eye surgery. I do not have any complaints about my four day stay but this is only due to being heavily sedated the whole time. My carers report the following: large gas element would not stay alight, mouldy bathroom with leaking tap, water leak in kitchen, filthy and worn cookware, mouldy rubbish bin, stained bed linen, lamp with electrical fault, flickering lights, aircon which would not stay on and general uncleanliness. The one positive was the staff who did their best to assist with any issues raised including replacing items as required. We emailed management following our stay to raise these issues privately to assist future guests but did not receive a response.
The room's been charged for 4 star accommodation mantra groupbut the standards are pretty low. All the rooms are under refurbishment. Ugly looking bathrooms and no cleanliness, forget about the toiletries. Privacy is a big concern if you traveling with family as bedroom gate's are sliding frosted glass doors which doesn't close properly. And last cockroaches. Look at the photos...
despite having friendly staff and the convenient location of the place, the cleanliness of the accommodation can be immensely improved. the bedroom walls were dirty, bathroom looked disgusting and i felt absolutely uncomfortable using the showers. the tile behind the bathtub's faucet had a hole in the wall. The floorboards creaked as we walked from the bedroom to the living room. Overall i would not recommend this place to anyone and definitely not worth the price unless if you like feeling sick and disappointing yourself.
Totally misled by the photos shown on their website! Rooms look nothing like them. Put off by other guests in the lift before we even entered the so called 'reception area'. What a joke that was - dirty welcome mat and all. Hallway leading to rooms smelt of stale cigarettes and walls were dirty. The door handle to open our room was half hanging off, toilet seat and flush buttons broken, cupboards were chipped and there was even a long hair next to the stove. Air conditioning terrible and the balcony chairs weren't even upright! We chose not to pull back the sheets on the bed to see could have been under there. We left immediately although the manager could surprisingly not been contacted??? demanded a refund from the receptionist and found far superior accommodation elsewhere which was also cheaper! After contacting the Manager the next day to follow up as he hadnt bothered to contact us even seemed surprised at our dissatisfaction - are u kidding me???!!!! He also said that our room was one that had been recently upgraded! Really? How about change the photos on your website to reflect what they really look like so guests can make an informed decision about whether to stay there or not! But my advice would be to not waste your time or money.
Location excellent, air conditioning was broken and stuck on hot, shower head leaked, a chair had a broken leg. Hotel room was in need of sprucing up. We ended up being moved to another room on the last day which was disruptive. Staff complained unit owners did not like spending money on basic maintenance. With the air conditioner they tried another second hand control to fix unit but would not get a new control panel without consulting owner. No ajustment to rate for inconvienience
Good location but the place is so tired. Carpet is ripped, sofa is saggy, bathroom is tiny. Access to the reception is difficult if you arrive at night. Reception is unfriendly. The room I stayed in looked straight out on a filthy wall. It's noisy if anyone is in the corridor.
The only good thing about this stay is the location. Everything else is terrible. Bathroom is old and disgusting. Bedroom walls are made out of frosted glass screens so it Doesn’t block out any light or sound from the living room which is directly outside the bedroom. 2 bedroom apartment is tiny with no privacy between the two bedrooms. Iron didn’t work in our room, had to change rooms because one of the bedroom screen doors didn’t close. At night, you can hear the street noise and music being played until early hours and we were on the 9th floor. The corridors Also stunk of Chinese food. Would never stay here again.
A great location, the service was fantastic. Anything and everything we needed was available for us if we needed. For the price of this place, its location and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on, this place is a must and I will be returning when I go back to Melbourne.Rooms: 4/5
