Significantly over priced and even more underwhelming! When checking in, the staff even commented on the high price we were paying which was a concern. My partner asked for a king bed and a balcony, on the top level. We did get what we asked for. A very basic room and a balcony with 1 chair. The photos online seem to allude to a more interesting, welcoming and cosy environment. Definitely won't be back.

Very sophisticated & modern restaurant. We had breakfast there. It was delicious & reasonably priced. The coffee was as it should be, amazing! It's a pity the service wasn't the same!

I sleep here on Saturday night. They didn't have parking available I called 2 days before to ask for a parking available. I just park on the corner for 20$less, hotel have parking price in 40$. Rooms are really good and clean. Good bed, kitchen, fridge, watching machine and dryer, microwave. The service was really bad. I asked for 2 drinks beers to the room and after 30 min never arrived already paid it. We called and they send after we sent an email with prove about the invoice the beers and were really hot, we have to call again and they just send ice. The ubication is good, but for price and service probably I will stay in other place.

Dropped in for Breakfast at the Jazz to meet some interstate family who were staying.  Only four of us. Took 40 minutes for the meals to arrive. Problem was they came about 10 minutes apart. Coffee was good, not sure what was going on in the kitchen but possibly the worst service we have had for a long time.Service: 1/5

We had a wonderful stay at the Jazz Hotel, could not fault anything, it was pretty central and within walking distance of the CBD.  The bed was comfy and the room was well equipped.  We also had the breakfast option with our booking which was very yummy! Comes highly recommended and reasonably priced!Rooms: 5/5

I did enjoy the room and my stay but it’s really not acceptable that it takes this long to get a refund of the deposit. It’s now been 13 days and counting and honestly you can blame the banks all you want but that’s really not the full story, as it never takes this long to get a refund elsewhere… Disappointing and leaves a sour aftertaste to the stay. For this reason I wouldn’t bother to stay here again, not worth it.

Very convenient location if staying in Melbourne. Easy access to free trams to get around the city. Queen Victoria Markets are very close by.  Nearby activities: Flagstaff gardens and Queen Victoria Markets  Walkability: Easy walk to Melbourne Mint

The worst stay around. Dodgy, incompetent and dirty. Two weeks of having to call them to get my deposits back, absolutely incompetent staff, starting from reception to management, who have made me come back to the hotel and still couldn't process my deposits, didn't offer an apology, until I called for two weeks straight, didn't respond to emails. The rooms were also much worse Older and dirtier than they are on the photos, with moth eaten carpets. One advice: DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME STAYING HERE. I travel to Melbourne a lot and with so many good options around, this place just doesn't offer anything except for stress, pain and unpleasantness.

The partner and myself stayed here for a birthday weekend trip. It was absolutely fantastic. I personally loved the jazz theme and everything was well kept, nothing felt like it was ageing unless intended or not maintained. The view was beautiful, but I do caution those with vertigo to not use the balcony, but definitely sit out there with your morning cuppa if you are wanting to enjoy the gorgeous views! Both the train and trams are just outside, so getting around town is incredibly easy with Flagstaff park providing a nice spot to stretch the legs. 11/10 would stay here again! Just so wonderful :

I’ve stayed at the jazz corner hotel a couple of times now, the staff are so lovely and accommodating. The rooms are modern and clean, amazing view and super comfy bed. My last stay it was my birthday and they gave me a complimentary bottle of wine, will definitely continue to stay here :Rooms: 5/5
