Little National is my absolute go to whenever I stay in Canberra. The location is great - nice and central, with the Parliamentary Triangle within walking or scooter distance.nnThe service is consistently excellent, with friendly and attentive staff always available to help. The rooms may be compact but they are designed so well that they feel cozy rather than small—perfect for two people… And the bed? Hands down the comfiest I have ever experienced in a hotel. The mattress, pillows and doona make it feel like you’re sinking into a cloud.nnThe hotel also gets the little details right. Their shower products always smell amazing and the lounge area is a lovely space to relax. The food and drinks on offer are surprisingly well priced, which is a rare and welcome find in a hotel.nnLittle National never disappoints and I’ll keep coming back! Highly recommend!
Each year, I participate in the Canberra Marathon, and this time, I had the pleasure of staying at the Little National Hotel in Canberra. The experience was wonderful, but what truly set it apart was their proactive service. Like many travelers, I’ve accidentally left my charger behind in hotel rooms countless times. Yet, never before has a hotel reached out to inform me they had found it and asked how I’d like to proceed. Kudos to them for this thoughtful gesture—something that should be standard practice, yet so few actually do.
Loved our stay here. The rooms are comfortable and the service staff at the desk and housekeeping staff super attentive and friendly: the bathrooms are well equipped, the common areas perfect for just enjoying a space out of your room.nThe location worked for us and being a business hotel was ideal that there were no kids around. The precinct is good for eating options.nShall be back again
I stayed here 2 nights in March 2025. Nice clean hotel but little far from attractions and no restos on site. Complimentary apples are a nice touch and each and every one was crunchy and amazing. Honour Bar will also satisfy cravings.
I had to cancel fairly last minute and the Little National kindly allowed me to do so even though the cancellation window had recently expired. So, while I can't comment on their rooms etc, I can confirm they were reasonable and flexible about cancellations and that I'd love to try staying again next time.
