Sid and Ashima's wedding was absolutely wonderful! The Indian food was some of the best I've ever had, and the staff were fantastic. I was so impressed with QT's ability to host such a beautiful Indian wedding. Karina, the wedding coordinator, was especially charming and made sure everyone was well taken care of. The only minor thing was a bit of a wait at the bar during the reception for coffee, but overall, it was a fantastic experience!
We had an okay stay at QT Canberra. The rate and package were very competitive, including parking, breakfast, and a few nice perks. And the reception staff were super friendly and helpful throughout.nnWe did have some issues with our room, the first was uncomfortably cold and the temperature couldn’t be adjusted. We were moved to another room thanks to the helpful team, but even there the climate control wasn’t working properly. At least it was warmer!nnThe hotel itself feels quite dated and the rooms don’t reflect the stylish vibe shown on their website. A bit of a letdown compared to other QT properties we’ve stayed at in other cities. That said, the breakfast was decent, and the complimentary drinks at the bar from our package were a nice addition.nnAll in all, it’s not a standout QT experience but it was good value for money and we appreciated not being hit with a huge bill at the end.
We had booked two rooms for two days. Great location with good restaurant and nice lobby. However the rooms are not that great. Aircon is old and noisy, bathrooms have that distinct old smell and if you are lucky, you will see some ants. Overall a decent hotel but definitely not a 4 star in terms of quality of rooms and cleanliness.
Stayed for 2 nights for a work trip. The hotel was booked by my travel agent as their recommendation. Lobby and restaurant is nice when you arrive but rooms are pretty shabby. Felt like a cheap Reno. I was on level 2 with a depressing view of the roof. Avoid this level. My tv wouldn’t cast and despite calling both nights to get it fixed it didn’t work which was annoying. Restaurant and food was excellent. Staff were always helpful and service was good.
Good experience here at QT. Room is clean and quiet, had good sleep for all the nights. We have a beautiful view outside for the sunset, which is awesome. An extra bed was added for our kid, very considerate. The restaurant is decent also.
