My family and myself with my little grandson we booked this hotel and stayed there for 3nights just a couple of days ago in a 2 bedroom apartment. It was just amazing.nPramesh checked us in and out. So friendly and explained everything especially the complementary car park and all.nWe had our breakfast on the last day and even that was so nice.nLocation the best, close to everything for dining, shopping etc.nThis was a gift for my grandson for his birthday and he just loved and wants to come again.nDefinitely we will be there.nOnce again the management and staff our first time stay was very memorable.nSarojini Reddy
We stayed at the Avenue Hotel for a Sunday Spa special and it was fantastic. The suite was lovely with a balcony overlooking Northbourne Ave with a view our to Black Mountain. The room comes equipped with a well equipped kitchenette and a huge spa bath as the name suggests. Our deal included parking, breakfast and a voucher for the in house restaurant Marble and Grain so it was excellent value.nnOur dinner at Marble and Grain was superb. Fair warning, the serving sizes are large and the dessert menu is definitely worth leaving room for! It can get busy so book ahead.nnWould definitely recommend.
Great hotel and location! Clean room. Gabriel checked us in and was very warm, welcoming and helpful. He also held the lifts for us etc, small things that made the difference to excellent service.nnIf I had to complain about something, it’s that the rooms are really warm overnight, even with the A/C. Couldn’t keep the door open overnight as we faced the main road on level 1. The beds are also far too soft and unsupportive. Although the room remains very quiet with door shut.nnOtherwise I would happily stay here again. Thank you!
Perfect!!! Stayed here for our Wedding anniversary and could not have been happier with the room and service. Super comfy bed, gorgeous and spacious spa bath spa suite room 801, beautiful view of the mountain/telstra tower. The room was VERY spacious and so clean!! Conveniently located, short walk to the “city walk”. We didn’t use the restaurant as we went out but I can only imagine that would have been just as great as the room. The underground parking was also very convenient and actually plenty of parking. Negative points…nothing…there’s honestly nothing I can think of that’s negative to say about this place. The Anniversary card left in the room for us was a very special touch.nThank you, will definitely be back!
Firstly, our hot water ran out so my partner attended reception to let them know there was something wrong with the hot water. He was dismissed by one gentleman who said he would look into it nothing happened however I fell extremely sick and had to go down to the reception with pneumonia to beg them to change our rooms so i could have a warm shower. Finally the Asian gentleman very lovely and sorry did not get his name but the only staff member that appeared to care found us a New room. Upon departure Juliana I think her name was tried to charge for the complimentary breakfast and parking offered for all the issues experienced which I will detail below. She was not pleasant not even smiled. Reception is a shambles.nnWe also had housekeeping enter our room TWICE without asking whilst I was asleep in my underwear because I was so sick and trying to rest. My partner is a type 1 diabetic and had a low blood sugar episode in the middle of the night and needed sugar and he couldn’t open the fridge as it was locked and then Juliana at reception explained that they lock the mini bars in case people do not pay???? This is odd as my partner Initially left a $100 room depositnnNot a good experience.nnBreakfast was a bit haphazard as they seemed understaffed but the staff and food was lovely.nnWe also ate dinner at the restaurant twice. The meals were great. The best part of the stay.nnWould I return? I highly doubt it.nnI have had 30 years experience in this industry and that was not a good experience that I could recommend to others.
