Stayed in 4 bedroom apartment which was 2 storey with 2 beds up, 2 beds down. Neat, clean and tidy. Good quiet location. Looked like it was recently painted and carpeted. While the furniture isn't of a high standard it was more than satisfactory for our stay.
Rooms are not sound proof- we can here the noise from outside and even the flushing of toilets from above our unit.nnOur room looks nice and neat but upon thorough inspection spiders are everywhere, some corners are dusty.nnCleaning schedule is not coordinated. As we checked in we were told that cleaning will be on a certain day. But almost everyday someone is going to our room. I was worried about our things because it was just all scattered around the room. And they are coming just to get the used towels which was just used once replace with a new one, and do the same thing the next day. I would appreciate it of they will clean thoroughly. But if only collecting towels everyday, they don’t need to do that.nnOne of the days we were in the unit when they came, for doing vacuum they asked us if we wanted them to do it. Of course we do, that’s more important than just collecting towels. So I just wondered, if we were not there the room will not be thoroughly cleaned then???nnGym is okay. Pool- we did not use. Parking is okay as well.
Pros..Rooms are nice and clean. Staff very accommodating. Central to everything canberra.nCons... smoke from smoker's fill your room from adjoining balcony's. Large groups of children run around all hours of the night noise travels throught the building. Parking can be tight if you have a large car.
It's a nice place. The biggest problem for us was there wasn't an air-conditioning remote in our room, so it was quite hot. There was no one in reception over Christmas, so there was no one to get the air-conditioner running.
We recently stayed at Pinaccle and unfortunately, our experience was not what we had hoped for. The main issue was the lack of accommodating staff. From the moment we checked in, it was clear that customer service was not a priority. When we requested assistance with our check in, we were met with indifference rather than the helpfulness one would expect at an accomodation. We are already tired with our travel and just want to check in. The reception is not helpful. Another issue that crossed the line was when staff entered our room without our permission while we were away. This invasion of privacy made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. If this is your rules, you should let the guest know upon check in. While the facilities were decent and the location was good, the attitude of the staff overshadowed these positives. It’s essential for guests to feel respected and valued, and sadly, that was not the case during our stay. I hope the management addresses these issues in the future, as a little attentiveness and respect could go a long way in enhancing the guest experience. Overall, I would not recommend this place based on our experience, and I suggest looking for places where the staff values and respects their guests.
